Sounds awfully like:

This was a fun silly story. XD Like how we got to see the chase from the perspective of the "hunter" as I feel like it's more common for stories to have it in the perspective of the one being chased. :SharptoothAmused Also poor Wild Arms, Ozzy might just go after him because he is such a scardey-egg. :ChomperBurned

Also the detail where it's said that a bunch of larger creatures ran from the "hunter" before... I can't help but think one of them being: :RedclawTerrified

Also, I was happy to see Etta appear the end, as I think this might be the first fan-fic I read with her appearing. X)

Post by: rhombus on July 27, 2020, 12:09:20 AM: Now this is a wonderful little story. :) The way in which the narrative is written immediately sucks us into the mystery- who is this hunter and who is the flat-tooth who is being chased? Through the hunter's own thoughts we can see that he thinks of himself as friendly, but narrators can be unreliable sometimes... as a result the chase is both thrilling and humorous. This makes the pay off when we find out the mighty hunter is in fact a rodent all the more humorous. Similarly, finding out that the "prey" was in fact Wild Arms makes perfect sense in hindsight. :p
