Title: Own songs
Post by: Nimrod on September 14, 2007, 12:24:17 PM: I thought about this several times, and now I decided to open this new topik. I think it wouldn¥t be possible for everyone, but who wants to enjoy this topic, can it be every time.

The main points:

You must play an instrument, or have the background music of any songs.
you record the songs while you are singing to them.
and then you post them into this forum.

Hope some of the forum enjoy this thread. I will start now.

I would enjoy a little singing of LBT songs by myself even though I prefer it with others. Also, check out the little "EDIT" button on top of your posts. There's no reason to make 3 consecutive posts if ya get what I'm saying. ;)

Just saying you can always do more than LBT songs. ;) I'm flattered that anyone thinks my voice is good since its untrained (meaning no coaching or lessons)...its like a singing in the shower voice. :P: However, I am around music all the time and have performed before, so I do know the tempo, pitch, expression, etc. etc. so I'm definitely not clueless on what to do by any means.

But I will have at least one more song up shortly so keep watching.

When I am singing to a song, it¥s like I cannot think any longer how I am singing. My voice wants to go excactly with the voice from the woman in the song. And these are the parts of the song where my voice is breaking. I cannot explain why. But it¥s in every song. My voice want to go excactly with the voice of the song. I can¥t do anything against that. :(

All the background vocals are her and her brother, just sung at different pitches and then all spliced together as one track. If you're cracking, well then you've just learned your range. :) Go an octave down if possible.
