Title: Moving
Post by: Malte279 on November 04, 2007, 08:44:39 AM
Hi!
As some of you know I'm moving to a new place today (keep your fingers crossed for it to be a Great Valley ;)). While I'm going to have an internet connection there I am not yet certain if there will be any problems. In the best case I will be back online toninght (CET) in the worst case it will take a few days. See you :wave

I hope you get a place with good internet service providers around.  In some places, you have to spend hundreds of dollars for a 4mbps connection!  Let's hope that's not the case. B)

Hopefully you were able to pack all that you wanted to take with you.  Not sure those huge LBT posters would make the journey.  Good luck.

Isn't there some sort of tube one can buy and roll a poster up into for mailing?  One could  use those for storage of posters while moving also.

Back! Once I got the right cable establishing the new internet connection was much less complicate than I had feared it would be.
And no, the land before time posters don't have to stay behind ;)
The LBT 4 cardboard standee won't come along to this place, but I must admit that I had that one deconstructed and stored in its box for a while anyway.

Everything is not working out alright after all  :bang
Already I was thinking that everything was working fine about my new internet connection but I just had to realize that I cannot send any emails with my mailing program. While I can receive mails without any problems I can't send them. I noticed this just after I finished typing a couple of mails (including one to you which is more than overdue brother Littlefoot). I really hope that I can sort the problem out somehow. It seems to be just the kind of error integrated into most internet softwares which exist just to annoy those users who don't have any idea of technical details :cry2

Internet problems and issues with email clients like that always plague my family. Which is one reason we all do webmail.

I just managed to send an email to myself!  :D
Not only did it work out to send the email, it even arrived where it was supposed to!
Such a technological advance and communicative progress :lol

Sounds like things are starting to work correctly again.  Maybe you can email one of your friends on this forum if you wish to fully test the email.
