I saw this spectacular piece the other day On Demand, and it's great, but what do you think about it?
-
-poke- I've seen it several times now, has no one else seen it?
-
Honestly, I've never even heard of it.
-
I've never heard about it until now.
-
It's a great movie. I definitely recommend you see it.
However, I also suggest that you make sure that anybody else who watches it is over the age of fourteen, because there are some serious themes, like homosexuality and aids, involved.

I've never heard of a movie by that name. Though it does remind me of a notice I saw that could make a great comedy movie. I saw it on a movie theater years ago listing the movies they were showing and on one of those was a notice now hiring. A friend of mine and I joked that could be a good comedy movie plot. Though that is off topic sorry.

I know of the film, know of the content, and am not interested in seeing a movie like this. I don't get why people are so up into the "Season of Love" song on the soundtrack...I've listened to much of it and its nothing special, for a musical.

This really sounds to me more like a recommendation to not see it than a recommendation to see it. Would this by chance be rated "R"?
-
Yes, its definitely rated R.

That's the rest that I needed to hear. I'm too young to watch it in the first place, but even if I wasn't, I wouldn't watch it, anyway.
-
if that isn't judging quickly
It's real good, the topics of homosexuality and AIDS are not ones I'd consider age 14, well at least AIDS, I knew of that when I was 9 or 10...
The story is very gripping, and I don't know why so many people are against the movie, especially for as many of you who haven't even seen and if you don't like it, don't worry, the writer won't be making any more plays, he had an aortic aneurysm the night before the show opened to the public, he's dead now  :cry2

Its not judging quickly, its knowing what I do or don't want to spend two hours watching a movie about. I don't want to spend two hours watching a film about poverty, sex, drugs, AIDS, and all that.

even if it's comical enough to not drive someone to suicide, and actually a very powerful message?
