Very cool show.  I loved it, but it was really cheesy after watching shows like voyager.  They didn't exactly have very good technology for making movies back in 1969 :p

I don't have a particular favorite, as I like Star Trek as a whole.

My favorate series are the classic series and ds9.  Though the classic series did have bad episodes.  TNG did have very good episodes.  I've only seen 1 episode of enterprise. I think it was called Dear Doctor.

I completely agree with you Voyager was the best season in my opinion.

*series* :p

Voyager seemed a little more serious than the others, but none of the series aren't without their flaws ("Threshold" comes to mind here) and their shining moments.

I liked aspects of the show, though I disliked how they dropped concepts they had at first, like rationing and such.  I quit watching it early on.

Second Generation. Why? I'll tell you why.

Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sertis, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, and LeVar Burton. That's why. The asbolute best cast playing the best ST characters ever really brings otherwise typical Star Trek fare to life in a way that's almost not corny as hell like the rest of them.

I have to say this, it's not so often I get to express my dislike for both sci-fi cult hits in the same day!

I respect what these series did for sci-fi, but I can't stand them...

Folks can't like the same things, part of what makes us individuals.  Imagine what the world would be like if everyone liked and disliked the same things, some things  would never get done or built.

Hello:
What I really like about Star Trek is the possibility of going beyond our own limitations in thinking to work for the things that really matters, like peace, comprehension to explore the infinite of our own universe. Just cjeck Earth in any Star Trek, it is a paradise, the things we can really achieve if we can left behind our feelingsa of distrust for somebody only because it thinks differently.

That was one of the really bad one's in my opinion.  It was pretty boring.

I guess the various star trek series have at least just enough variety that it's unlikely someone will like them all equally.
