I basically read 90% of the script flawlessly XD

Is this overdoing it? XD

What do you mean by reading 90% of the script flawlessly? What script?

I spoke the words as they were said throughout the movie, and I only missed a very small amount of lines XD

I guess "script" isn't quite the word I was looking for

There are many folks who memorize song lyrics, and lines, scenes, or whole movies.  Never understood that hobby or more then a hobby, but if it makes someone happy and i Don't have to hear it that is fine.

In my case it is not even a hobby, but sometimes I memorize stuff without meaning to. There are quite a few audio cassettes which I haven't listened to for years and still I know them completely by heart. In case of the movie "Gettysburg" (it lasts over three hours I think) it is enough for me if someone gives me three successive words from any sentence in the movie (German version) and I can continue. The same is true for some of the land before time movies. But in spite of the fact that I have focused on the English LBT versions much more than I did on the German I still don't know any of the English audio versions completely by heart. I don't know why, but it seems to be easier to unintentionally memorize the own native tongue than it is to unintentionally memorize a non-native tongue.

I've never tried to do that.   Annoying when I hear someone else say lines from the movie or song.  I seem to be the only one around that I know of who doesn't do that.  One benefit of being a hermit with no friends.

I don't "try" to do it either. If I was capable of deciding what I knew by heart without much effort I would certainly go for something more useful than the words of movies or cassettes. The sounds just stuck without me even trying to memorize them.

I have a habit of memorizing things against my will.

For example, I have memorized the first 42 digits of pi. I want to forget them.

Here they are.

I've done it on occasion, or I just know what will be said next.  Its not unusual if you watch a film repeatedly.

I have a portion of Tom Bombadil's theme song (Lord of the Rings; Fellowship of the Ring (literature, not movie)) burned into the side of my skull.. there are days I randomly find myself chanting them much to my own amusement

Hey dol, merry dol
Ring a dong dillo!
Falla Falla Fallow the willow!
Tom Bom, Tom Bom Tom Bombadillo!

If it makes you feel any better, I know everything they're going to say in LBT before they say it.  I memorized all the songs and the entire script of LBT 12 only 2 days after getting it.  I also know all the words to all the songs in both the sequels and tv series.  It's not over doing it.  After watching the movies countless times, you get to know the lyrics 100%.  It only took me 6 watchings of LBT 13 to get every word right.  It's not that hard to do.

I think it's easier to memorize something when you're more interested in it. In this case, the bigger of an LBT fan you are, the easier it might be to memorize the script and song lyrics from any LBT movie.

Tom Bombadil is awesome. He is my favorite character from Fellowship of the Ring.

There are a couple of movies I can actually almost do that with (not LBT). It's not unnatural, but it does take quite alot of watching. :p
