Well, part one is officially finished. Thank you to those who posted and were a part of the rp. We are going to get the lajistics of part 2 ready, and eventually we will create the next part.
If you did not take part in the first part but would like to join now, PLEASE DO SO!!!! I will welcome anybody who wants to take part in our rp. Don't worry about not knowing what happened in the first part. I will post a summary of what happened so you can read it.
I will need help on coming up with a title for the next RP, so please post your ideas.

It would be neat to have Cera being rped. She is so seldom rped, and that would complete the famous gang everyone knows about.
Any sort of limitations that you think new players should know about concerning magic, martial arts, ect?

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!: For those of you who are joining this for the first time, please refrain from having magic powers. My character, Zaine, has a "mental connection" with the stone, but he can't use it on his own free will. I would also like to add that no Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, etc... can be used. Please stick with simple headbutts, tail grabs, etc... Most of all, please NO WEAPONS

Anyone involved in the last RP I was a part of will know how usless I am at this. I made two or three relatively pointless posts before fading away. I'm willing to have another shot however, but I'll need a character who can either fade into the background or be taken over by someone else, as chances are I'll tail off at some point again.

You could make an original character. One totally original or a sibling of some of the feature characters, or one of the feature characters not taken, including one of the adults maybe.

Right. Ok on the no magic thing. Dante has strong instincts though, and can get a good sense of if things aren't right. That OK?

Perfectly fine. My character will still have the mental connection with the stone, so he will still have visions, except they will mostly be dreams.

Okay, I've decided to give this a really good go. I just wanted to check that the character I've come up with sounds good to you lot. I'm thinking about playing a female flyer called Pteria who'll probably be about the Gang's age. I've decided to flesh out her character and backstory as I go along, to see what fits me. I'm still hanging on for a quick run-down on the previous events, so no idea how to get her into the plot yet. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a favorite type of dinosaur? A longneck, threehorn, a flyer, or some other type?
Or maybe a certain personality type. Or there may be a character you'd like to try since they seem easier to do.
It may be easier to do an original character if you feel unsure of doing a feature character.
As for how to get a character into the plot, you can say the character was living in the valley this whole time even if the char never appeared. They did that with Mr. Thicknose. He was around the whole time but off camera from LBT 2-7, appeared in 8 then went back off camera till the tv series.

This is a summary of the first rp. If you are new to this particular series, READ THIS FIRST PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zaine (played by me), began to have dreams about another stone of cold fire landing. Of course, the stone actually does land, but it lands in the Mysterious Beyond. Along with his friends, Zaine ventures into the Mysterious Beyond to find the stone in an attempt to use its power to see his parents. Unfortunately, Ozzy and Strut, old enemies of the original gang, have decided to go after the stone as well. They briefly pull Zaine away from the group and warn him not to reveal their presence. Unfortunately, Zaine does tell, and Ozzy and Strut kidnap Littlefoot (Kor) and Longtail (GVG).
The second rp will start a couple days after Littlefoot and Longtail are kidnapped.

So far, I'm personally not against it. I'm sure my own characters are out of the question (except maybe for 1-liners), and don't think there will be a lot of minor characters to go along with the list already made.
I do have a quick question. Is this RP following another RP or the movie?

It's following another rp. The first one is called The Second Stone of Cold Fire. My last post was the summary of the first rp.
If you want to tell me a little more about your characters, I may still allow them in, and you don't have to necessarily be an oc. At the moment, Chomper is still available if you wanted to be a member of the gang.

Yes, feel free to post your character ideas so the gm of the thread LBTFan13 can go over it and / or discuss it with you. Or if you'd rather not I guess he would not mind you pming in instead if you'd rather discuss it more privately.

No I really do not have an idea. Can anyone think of a character for me? I really dont mind I think I can change myself to any personality. even if i should be a mean one like ozzy ;P... Well I will hear if you guys need me or not :)

You can try one of the gang or one of their friends like Guido, if you know their personality well. Or one idea, to give rp a try is to pick a character you like, but maybe don't feel you can rp them well, and make an oc who is their sibbling. For example being one of Petrie's or Ducky's sibblings.
You can also pick a dino type that you like, longneck like Littlefoot, threehorn like Cera, or another type of dinosaur, like a maiasaur, clubtail, Iguanadon, or another dino type that you like and make an original character that has mainly your personality.

Up to the gm. Threehorn may have had some kids before Cera. If your character is a child of one of them, then Cera would be your characters aunt.
At worst she could be related to Tria, Threehorn's current mate and the mother of Tricia, Cera's little sister. Which may mean that your character is now related to Cera since threehorn and Tria are mates. I guess your character would be a cousin to Cera, since I doubt the dinos in lbt would use the term cousin in law, instead of cousin. Or Cera could be an aunt, depending on the relation.
Or one of your character's parents could be a sibling of Threehorn, Cera's dad, instead of one of his kids. Your character would thus be a cousin to Cera.
That is between you and the gm though. I'm sure he'll give his opinions when he gets here. Just thought I'd say a few ideas I had.

To LBTFan13: My characters are a family of spikethumbs, the most common of them are Guan, only brother about Hyp's age, Goanna, first sister in between Guan's and the Gang's age catagories, and Donna, youngest sister about Littlefoot's age.
As for Chomper, I only now his personality from the 2nd and 5th movies. I wasn't able to watch the series. Did he change any since then?

To Mumbling: Making a cousin to Cera would be a nice idea. Especially since GVG is playing Cera, so the two of you could interact a little with each other
To Kenji: You have really great ideas. If you want, you can use a couple of them for the rp. Chomper really didn't change much in the tv series, so he would probably be easy for you to portray.

I've thought about this. I would like to play as a female threehorn a bit older than the gangs age. She is not that proud like cera, but actually really shy and on the background. (I like being different :) ) Hmm she was, too, searching for the valley alone and met a couple of friends, like littlefoot. But found it a little later..
I do not know a name yet.

Why not just join in like everyone else is doing. Are you having problems with trying to think up what your character would do? Or is it another problem.
As for names for the triceratops you can look at the name of triceratops and see if any name comes to you.

Oops... my character's name is far too close to yours for comfort. In fact that name was probably what inspired me. Fear not, I'll think of something else.

Maybe you can mix some of the letters up. pryta, pyrta, ect, or do one based on the character's coloring, or something that is similar to what she is, like Ducky's name and that is a water fowl, or my oc's name of Diver and she is a swimmer like her sister Ducky is. That may give you some ideas for your character's name. Or perhaps looking at the species name. Just a few suggestions.

Ok, Kor gave me the info I needed, so here I go.
Introducing... Mitch, the longneck.
Mitch is a friendly teenager, twice the size as Littlefoot.
His color: Mostly like Shorty's.
Muscular for his age
He is, like most teens, struggling with love, and he has a girl that he's been keeping his eyes on for a while...
He trains everyday, tryin to get stronger for the common good (and defending his friends and future herd, + make improvement on girls)
He loves kids, and will not letting anything bad happen to them, hence he'll be pissed with Ozyy and Strut if he meets them. Never gives up when friends are in danger, not even to scariest sharpteeths.
He may be recognized by the adults in the valley, giving a helping hand when needed. Your friendly neighbour hood longneck!
He hates bullies, but never use brute force unless he needs to.
He's familiar to Littlefoot and his gang, (meaning, he knows who they are)
He's an orphan. Adopted?

To Kor: I think what I'm going to do to introduce the new characters is say that Cera realized that Littlefoot has been gone for a while, but she's kept it a secret from the adults. She then heads out to search for Zaine and the others.
As for the new characters, I guess you can just overhear what's going on and join Cera. I'm sure you all willl introduce your character with flying colors :DD
Also, since nobody has claimed him, I am taking Chomper.

Here's Motochika's Information, since Dante and Virgil have their profiles somewhere.
Name: Motochika Chosokabe
Age: Eqivalent to a 30-year-old human
Gender: Male
Eyes: Piercing Green
Scales: Ocean Blue, with silver accents on his arms and legs
Distinguishing Marks: Unique pattern around his Right eye, Feathers that look like kimono sleeves (progressively get longer as they move towards his hands) on his arms
Personality: Motochika is quiet, reserved, and unemotional much of the time, but he can be kind and friendly, especially around younger dinos. He is a skilled fighter, who never lets his emotions cloud his judgement.
Species: Tosan-- Similar to a fast-biter, but taller than any of the others.

The rp is now at a critical moment! Longtail and Littlefoot are free, but Zaine is on the verge of dying! Read the post at the bottom of page 11 if you don't know what I mean.

Since Mim just left I can't have her suggest this but maybe another character would think of this. Maybe they could bring some water to Zaine in a large leaf that a 2 footer could hold as they carry water back to him. That seems to me a fairly LBT solution.

what was going on when you posted last?
The rescue group rescued Longtail and Littlefoot and headed to meet up with the group going for the stone. Zaine was attacked by the egg eaters and they then left him for dead. The second group reached him in time and with combined effort was able to save him. They've been working on him and some still are. Petrie is in a tree keeping watch for any trying to sneak up on the group. I'm not sure on what everyone else is doing. Some of them are working on various parts of Zaine's body, or assisting those who know what they are dong.
You can say you've been watching, not sure what to do, not sure what to make of recent events, a mix of these, or you may have your own ideas. Others may have ideas also.

Littlefoot is beside him, maybe they could carry it back, though he'd have to keep his head down to Littlefoot's level. Each of them could carry one side of the leaf in their mouth.

ARGH! Okay, If I am to continue, could we kinda keep seperate groups low-key, especally with having so many characters I havn't fully memorized? Plus, Ptyra needs a bit more of a role other than a background character :unsure:

The groups seem to be going to stay one. One thing you can do is ignore most of the folks and say your character is shy or something and only really hangs around certain characters, just one idea I had. Sort of like pretending there is separate groups. After all shy people don't talk to everyone all the time. They are more prone to talking to just the folks they know, or are more familiar with. Just a few ideas I had.

A new part should help with getting caught up, and if Zaine is feeling better there may be stuff for everyone to do.

When the third part starts, Zaine will be healed, although he may limp a little because his legs are a little sore.
I only ask that we bring all discussion about the next part to the topic I made, thank you :D
Btw Mumling, I was wondering how your character and Cera find out that they are related.
