due to my unemployment, and the threat of being homeless and on the streets, my mother has offered to let me come back and live with them until I can get on my feet again.
If anybody here remembers the turmoil I had to go through last time I lived with my folks, then you'll understand why I wish not to oblidge in the offer. I will not be allowed to do any of my writting or artwork while I live in that house. My step pa believes it is a waste of time and that I need to focus on a job 100% (even when I'm not on it). and I have to go to bed at a certain time (doesnt matter if I'm about to be 26 years or not... these rules have to be followed...)
Unless I can find an awesome paying job before Saturday this week, then I dont have to go back. But the possibilities of that are looking very VERY slim here in Fayetteville. I cant stay here because there are no jobs here. and I'm about to have my car taken away by the dealership if I dont pay on it soon...
But even if I do move back, I'll be going under with my chin up. This wont be forever. And I have plans that will help me to continue my writtings (I have to sneak around the rules to follow it through)
and ya'll wont be seeing much of me at all... maybe not even for months....
just wish me luck.. I'll post more tomarrow,... library is about to close, and the internet is down at my place...

Anyway you can stay with any of your friends. I'm sure you don't want to impose on them but that may be better then moving back with your mother again.

Ouch, that must be really bitter. Although I'm still a frequent guest at my parents' home's I don't think I would want to move back there if I was offered so. Same as with you a certain degree of "tension" with my stepparents would be a main reason for this.

Aw, man. I feel your pain here. If I were to move in with my parents, I would go insane. You have my sympathy. Hopefully, you'll find a job and get over this.

I wasn't here for Round One, but if my roomates' experiences are anything like yours, I feel for you.
Is there any way to bargain with your folks for time? Say, an hour of lawn-moving for an hour of writing time?

Tch...that's rough Aves! Sorry to hear that things have taken that kinda turning but you've got the rigth mentality. Despite moving back in with your folks, it's not gonna be a permanent basis. It's only a matter of time before things start heading your way again. Whatever bleak outcomes have befallen you so far will eventually show some means of positivity later down the line. I hope that you land a position before it comes to having to bunk up with your folks again ;)

Well, it seems I wont be moving back there after all. My uncle has agreed to let me stay with him. Though I still desperately need to find me a job.
But anyway, my writting endevaors shall continue, and I'll most likelty be getting my internet back.
Still, there's a rough road to trek. My uncle lives with my granparents. and my granparents appose letting me move back in. But its my uncle's house and he says yes.... not a conflict I'm looking forward to.
I'll keep you all updated though.

Well, at least you were able to get help from someone. Well, we will all be praying/wishing/meditating/ for you to find that job you need and everything WILL work out. It always does. :)

If its not your grandparents' home or income you are utilizing then it shouldn't matter what they think of your uncle's decision. Continued good wishes on the job search. :)

Best wishes, Aves. I hope you can find a job soon.. :) Glad you don't have to move back in with your folks... It's a bit like me having to stay where I am, with my aunt and uncle, except they're not restrictive, just a little hard at understanding me occasionally... :p

Sounds like things are getting better for you. At least it's not back with your stepfather so that is one plus. I hope things continue to improve and get better for you.
