Ok, I suck at drawing facial expressions but let's see what you can make of this.

It looks like they are talking about something.  

As for drawing facial expressions, maybe you can do what some animation artists do.  At their work desk some have a mirror so they can do various expressions and look in the mirror as they draw.  I saw that one some behind the scenes type of thing, forgot for what.  But thought that tip may help you.
