Hello my mateys!
---This refeers mostly to my fellow RPG players that play in the RPG sections of GoF---
Lately, I've got more and more into developing my drawing skills.
Thing is though, I somewhat lack things to draw.
So, I've had this idea for a while now, and I post it and see if anyone's up for it.
Here's the thing;
I want to make something like a... GoF RPG character collage.
It will feature most of the well known RPG characters (dinosaurs only) from various RPGs gathered, and drawn in one same place. (OCs)
Now how do I plan to do this?
Well, I have my theories.
First off, I'd like anyone who'd want their RPG OC in this drawing to provide me with appearence details for that character. Color, age, body, species etc...
Ideally, you choose 1 or 2 character(s) that YOU USE MOST FREQUENTLY.
I'll start off doing my work with pen and paper, and after it has been confirmed as "good" "approved" "I like it!" whatever, I'll add it to the main digitalized picture (in Photoshop) where it will be colored and so on.
I'll save all sketches, and divide the work up in Photoshop PSD formats, meaning that I can go back and edit everything, if anyone don't like it, or anyone new want's their character featured.
Think of the result, something like this... (but bigger and more characters)

Another thing that could be cool were if I could add something like a... "mix" with good OCs in the front, and bad in the background. Another idea I speculated on.
Now why do I want to do this?
Well, to practise my drawing skills, ofcourse.
And I thought that IF the result becomes good, it may be used for "advertisement" for our awesome RPG section. You may use it in signatures etc.
Aswell as if anyone'd like it up on the OC wiki pages.
Depending how many that joins in, this project can take time. ALOT of time!
Don't expect to be done over a couple of days etc.
And if this doesn't become anything... well, that means I've failed, and you can punish me however you want I guess. :rolleyes:
But if enough people join, I'll swear I'll put all my love and attention to detail on it!
Ofcourse, you are allowed to help me as I go, and I might put pictures of the progress here as it proceeds.
Now, if nobody likes this idea, I won't do it.
It can be of any reason anyway, such as not fancy my artwork.
But I can say that even if this will take a long time (and it will) I will put alot of patience and attention to detail in this project.
But I thought it could be fun! :)
If you have any questions, or even own ideas, I'd like to hear them.
And it's okay if somebody(nobody) feels that "no way" or doesn't trust me.
As I said, I won't start anything if nobody want's to. :)
Copyrights for your OCs are ofcourse respected. ;)

That would be great for the OC section on my wiki as well. Would it be okay with everyone if I paste it on the OC main page once it's written?

Up to the guys who decide to join me in this project.
As I'll save it PSD(s), I can easily remove a part (in this case an OC) if someone doesn't want their OC displayed at the Wiki pages.

My primary 2 oc's would be easy to draw & to have a reference to draw from I guess, especially Diver, one of Ducky's twin sisters. Mim would be easy I guess also.
Those are the main 2 I've rped. Diver's other friends I've only rped a few times, Mia, Rhyn, Deon, and his older brother Blue-eyes.

I have them listed in the strict lbt char list. A pretty long list, with the descriptions a bit vague.

I only have 1 OC I use. But here he is:
Name: Deimos
Species: Utahraptor
Size: About the size of Ducky's mother. (Yes I know real Utahraptors weren't that large.)
Coloration: Solid brown skin with small facial scar on the right side of his face. He has no feathers.
Eyes: Amber
It is your choice whether you choose to show him with a weapon or not.

Um, I'm new but do my characters count too? :) If so I have no problems with my two characters being in too.
Kit obviously is the first and then I was thinking the second might be Cory, but actually Misty is more used. Both their bios are in the main character profile section, but you might need more description, like I don't think I told you Misty has brown eyes.

All you write might be used. So if you want any special signs or so, then add that.
Also, I don't know what your characters look like, so I'll use my imagination if needed. If you don't write down eye color etc, small things like that.
One thing that I want you to write down though is the age. Without that it would be hard. ;)
You can write easy terms such as, young-adult, adult or "same as the Gang of Five". You get the picture. :)

Yeah mine are too and I updated everyone, but if you need more or anything on Kit or Misty just let me know. I tried to cover everything of the image of them in my head, but I might have missed something.

Here's my brief description of my character:
Name: Zaine
Species: Apatosaurus
Age: About same as Littlefoot
Appearance: About same height as Littlefoot, Light green body, light yellow underbelly, blue eyes
Personality: Very friendly, Wants to help protect friends, Sometimes depressed
Bio: Zaine's entire herd was killed during the great earthshake, leaving him alone. He managed to get to the Great Valley by himself, but for the longest time he was extremely shy and avoided contact with anybody else. Eventually, he became friends with Littlefoot and the others, and now he's much more happier than before. Zaine especially shares a strong bond with Longtail and Dante.

I remember Zaine from his first rp appearance I think it was, fun char to rp with.

Yeah he certainly has come along way since his first rp. Just wait until he appears in his own fanfic after Revenge II :blink: It's going to be EPIC :lol:

How many characters would you want to be in your picture. If you get to many you may need to do more of a panaramic view to get them all in, maybe across 2 pictures combined.

Yes, it would have to be panaramic.
All characters will be drawn from "parallel from the side" so to say, making them all fit together.
I'll draw one at the time, and then decided who to put next to that, and so on and so on.
