I had to make a "biotine" as a project for AP Bio. Part of it was writting a poem at least 8 lines long. I decided to write two limericks instead, which are only five lines each but are pretty easy to do. Here are my terrible poems, which actually didn't come out to bad considering i hate poetry (of course their bio themed!)
There once was a virus so small
That looked like a wandering ball
It entered a nearby cell
And started to raise all hell
Oh well, I guess its that cell's downfall
and....
Glycolysis was a cell's bane
Untill the electron transport chain
"Now theres so much ATP!"
The cell shouted with glee
"So moving is not such a pain!"
yes, i am embarresed

I think those two limericks are actually quite funny. :lol

i guess, these are the only two pieces of poetry which are scientific themed, i know of.
interesting...
however, i don't see the purpose of writing a poem for biology class. does your teacher happen to like pranks?

Those are pretty funny, especially the virus one :lol.

those limericks are funny and cell biology based it seems. You can do good limericks.

thanks, glad u guys actually like em, hopefully my teacher will too
cell biology based it seems
not really, its general bio but were limited to what we have learned so far this year which has been all the cell stuff than classification, stuck with the cell stuff cause its kinda hard to rhyme with ecdysozoa :lol
oh, by the way, learned today that there is a way that birds are sometimes classified where they are literally dinosaurs, so we can actually say there are true living dinosaurs!

OMG. These are the first poems I've actually really understood. :p
