Frustrated director: "Those one sequel stars will try to do anything trying to get attention and creep into another sequel!"
Assistant whispering to him: "Uh... chief, I checked out the largest fanforum of the movies that is on the internet and many seem in favor of letting one sequel characters return."
Frustrated director: "Oh for heaven's sake, leave him in this scene then, but make it a song scene of no plot relevance!"
Assistant: "I'm not sure this will suffice for the fans..."
