I think what he did makes perfect sense.  I often leave the country for five days skipping on work without telling a single person about my whereabouts.  Not.

Edit: Oh, wow, this suddenly took on a very different nature.  Should have seen that coming.

Governors don't have a right to privacy too?  Media overblowing a non-issue I think.
