What are black and white cookies?
-
I personally don't like food. I lost a taste for it by the time I was 7. I don't have time for stuff like eating. I suppose I like stuff that's really quick to eat and doesn't taste like garbage. :p
-
Curry (goat or chicken)
Most forms of seafood
Hummus
Tea
Ice
Ribs
Pasta
Rice
Sushi
Frog legs
Alligator
Jellyfish
And that's just the start... Bear in mind, that I will eat almost anything at least once (no beef).
-
What are black and white cookies?
Oh must be like a NJ/NY thing. It's a cookie with black frosting on one half and white icing on the other. If made correctly they are really, really, good.

Oh I see. Never heard of black frosting.

I'm the opposite. :p Sometimes I eat too much, especially at those all-you-can-eat buffets.
To be honest, I do find it strange to hear someone say they don't like food. Everyone else I talk to or seen say they have a certain preference of food. But to just flat out say "I don't like food"? That seems strange to me. No offense or anything.

You know what forgive my stupidity. It's probably Chocolate. Please tell me you know what that is. ;) ;)

I know it's necessary for me to live, but if it was optional to eat food or not, I wouldn't eat. Not even occasionally. I get no enjoyment from wasting such time and doing those required actions. I enjoy eating food just about as much as I enjoy getting rid of it (if you know what I mean). :p
-
I'm sorry for you.
Occasionally I am having a sad loss of appetite myself and I am everything but a great eater, but eating is one of the many things in life which those who are privileged not only not to starve, but even be able to pick from many different kinds of food, rarely appreciate but which they take for granted. Something tasty to eat can brighten up a rainy day. I'm afraid that the striving for "efficiency" and not "wasting" any time may ultimately lead to wasting much of what life could give us.
Anyway, as for the main question I'm quite fond of many noodle dishes with tasty sauces, fondue is a particular celebration treat, something which we have always been referring to as Ragout fin (though it is VERY different from what Wikipedia will describe under that term) is something I really like, my Mum always made a delicious leaf spinach in flaky pastry, and my Dad's lasagna is a piece of culinary poetry. There are also some rice dishes which I really like Djuvec rice with Ćevapčići or Gyros for example (with a fresh salad to it).
-
I don't have much of an appetite myself. I have the appetite of an elderly person. Still, there are foods I like. They are:

*Mexican dishes
*Popsicles

-
Popcorn!!
Popcorn is my favourite snack. I can't imagine watching movies without it. Other then that i like crab meat salad, russian pancakes and japanese rolls. Caviar with cheese can be nice too.
-
How do you eat your popcorn in Russia Andrey, sweet or salty? Over here popcorn is usually done with some honey and sugar on it and I was somewhat surprised when in the US I found popcorn to be a salted kind of snack. Which way do you eat it in Russia?
-
Salted mostly. We have some sweet popcorn over here too, but not that much.
-
Well, I really don't like spicy foods, and that would include most Thai, Central & South American, and Louisiana cuisine.
I also hate anything with coconut, and most anything that is microwaved when it could be cooked another way (i.e. Dad's cooking). :x
-

-
Adding more to my list:
Regular and teriaki-flavored beef jerky.
Strawberry Pop Tarts.
Super nachos (With only the meat, not the cheese.)
Gatorade (Various flavors.)
-
My favorite type of food is something that contains meat and is spicy, although my list is not limited to just that.
Hand-tossed (not thin crust) pizza with pepperonies, sausages, and jalapaÒios. I prefer going light on the cheese for the top, cheese-filled crust, and sprinkled with crushed red peppers.
My favorite fruit is the pomegranate. I don't do anything fancy when I eat them. I like just plain-old consumption of such a thing.
I like hamburgers quite a bit. I prefer the bun at room temperature- no toasting or any such warming. I like the meat medium-rare, as the blood adds a nice flavor, despite how that make appall some of you, in which case I apologize if you recently, are, or will be coming into contact with any consumable. I like on them cajun seasoning, montreal steak seasoning, deli mustard, a tomato slice, a little onion, and maybe some pickle slices. (Sometimes I'm not in the mood for the taste of pickles.)
My favorite vegetable is broccoli, and I like it steamed until it can basically melt in your mouth in regards to iuts sterness. I like them very, very soft. On them is nice for me to have some butter, black pepper, and garlic salt.
As drinks have been mentioned, I like a tall glass of 4/5 pepsi/coke with 1/5 2% milk or half and half. I also like any form of pomegranate juice. I like 7 UP mixed with any sort of juice, though not often with cranberry or grapefruit. Also, when I'm feeling a little down, a like a glass of 1/3 mountain dew/mellow yellow, 1/3 big red or blue, and 1/3 coke/pepsi. I also enjoy this egg nog I make using two cups of milk, one egg beater, some vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon, along with several packets of splenda.
I really enjoy chicken breasts, though in a rather simplistic way- just fried and covered with hot salt with a little butter does just fine.
My favorite ice cream is called Phish Food, and is made by the compant Ben & Jerry's. It is chocolate ice cream with fish-shaped fudge pieces with marshmellow/caramel swirl.
I don't know if untried foods count, but for many years I've heard tales of a cooked banana dish made with a fruit called a plantain. Never have I tasted one, but after hearing of how they are prepared and what goes into dishes made from them like desserts, my mouth waters. I do not believe for an instant that I could dislike such a thing, as I like every ingredient that I have heard goes into preparing a dessert from plantains. If imagining counts, I love their taste.
I think I'll stop here, at least for now. Later!
-
Meat, mainly chicken :D
Things that aren't too "Candyish" but yummy is still good! :angel
Nachos with lots of beef and lots of cheese! :p
Things that aren't too spicy, I can't seem to handle it. Bleh :p
Pastas, pizza, all that kind of stuff is great :D
Asian stirfries can be amazing too, depending on where it's made!
As for fruits, not too much..prefer cooked veggies, especially in stirfrys or potatoes with meat :D
-
Nachos with lots of beef and lots of cheese! :p
Oddly, I like my nachos with just the beef, not the cheese.
-
I LOVE Swedish Fish!!! 8D *drools*

I LOVE Swedish Fish!!! 8D *drools*
So do I! :D
-
Same here! :smile (We need an emoticon of a drooling dinosaur to use in this thread. :p)
-
brek, Pangea, we need to start a Swedish Fish club! 8D
The only bad thing about Swedish Fish is that they come in such SMALL packages so I have to savor the moment...and once they're gone...they're gone... :cry
-

I agree. It's a pain that the darn packages are so dinky. :rolleyes Especially since my taste buds seem reluctant to register flavor if the morsel I have ingested is below a certain size.
BTW, what exactly would we do in a Swedish fish club? Eat Swedish fish? That's good enough for me. :p Unfortunately, I'm so bad at partitioning my time as a GoF member that I doubt I could handle being a part of another club at this moment. Sorry. :P:

Thanks! :)
Ironically, my older brother's name is Alex.
-
I like your older brother already.
-
Also, I'm a fan of breaded fish.
-
Ok, prepare for my extremely long list of all the yummy foods I like! :lol
Breakfasts
- Oatmeal (Either with brown sugar, maple syrup, or both. I also like just plain flavored oatmeal if I add a lot of sugar to it :P:)
- Cream of Wheat (You can make this with just water, but it's pretty blah. I make it with like 60% water and 40% milk. Also, if you don't know what you're doing, this stuff will come out HORRIBLE. It can get all lumpy and slimy really quickly if you even slightly overcook it, or don't stir it enough while it's cooking. I cook mine in the microwave, which seems to work a lot better than on the stove top.)
- Cinnamon Toast (Not the cereal, buttered toast with cinnamon on it.)
- Blueberry Pancakes (Really only get to have it at restaurants, since my dad doesn't make them with blueberries.)
- Strawberry Pop-tarts
- Toaster Strudels
- Waffles
Dinners/Sides
- Chili on Rice (We make it with ground beef, garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, ground cumin, and kidney beans, then serve it over either brown or white rice. Really good :p)
- Pizza Meatloaf (Just meatloaf with ragu sauce and mozzerella cheese mixed in. Simple, but one of my favorites.)
- Baked Mac n Cheese (Cooked elbow pasta with milk, butter, and sharp white cheddar cheese all melted together and poured on top, then baked in the oven.)
- Hamburg Casserole (Simply small hamburg patties, carrots, and potatoes all put in tomato soup and cooked in the oven.)
- Spaghetti (With buttered italian bread on the side. Yum yum.)
- Pizza (The only topping I don't like is anchovies. They are awful. They taste like nothing but salt.)
- Boxed Mac n Cheese
- A majority of those Pasta Roni boxed meals. Here are some of my favorites:
-------- Fettuccine Alfredo
-------- Parmesan Cheese
-------- Butter and Herb Italiano
-------- Angel Hair Pasta with Herbs
- Any kind of Chicken Alfredo dish, preferably Cajun-style
- Salmon with any kind of sweet glaze
- Medium Rare to Medium Well cooked Steak (doesn't really matter to me)
- Venison (I've only had it once, but it sure was good.)
- Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Shrimp (I can't stand it cold with no other flavor. It has to be cooked in some kind of sauce with seasonings and stuff.)
- Crab Legs
- Steak and Cheese Mushroom Sandwiches (Steak tips and mushrooms cooked with melted swiss cheese between two slices of toasted sourdough bread. This was one I only ever got at Friendly's, but man is it good! :p)
- Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing
- Broccoli
- Brussel Sprouts (I have to dip them in melted butter, they taste so weird by themselves.)
- A lot of Chinese Food, here are some of my favorites:
-------- General Tsao's Chicken
-------- Chicken Lo Mein
-------- Chicken Terriyaki
- Bread Stuffing
- Turkey
- Mashed Carrot and Turnip
- Squash
- Crescent Rolls
Desserts/Snacks
- Monkey Bread (Man I love this stuff. For people who don't know what this is, it's chopped up buttermilk biscuits coated with cinnamon and sugar, with a melted mixture of butter and brown sugar poured on top, then cooked in the oven.)
- Gingerbread Cookies (I really only like them when they're right out of the oven. After they cool and harden, they're just really blah tasting.)
- Vanilla Ice Cream. Here are some variations I like:
-------- Marshmallow Syrup topping with Whipped Cream (Maybe a banana or two thrown in there also )
-------- Chocolate and Peanutbutter sauce
-------- Cookie Dough
-------- Cookies n Cream
- Brownies
- Chocolate-chip Cookies
- Sugar Cookies
- Apple Turnovers

A new favorite of mine is something I learned in cooking class:
It's called a Taco Noodle Skillet, and it's a a mix of elbow macaroni, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, water, ground beef, with cheese and fritos as toppings.
-
Quite a lot of vegetables; mushrooms are the best.:D
Fruit; Tomatoes, pineapple, pears.

Pizza; there is a really lovely italian restuaruant down in G¸mligen that makes them (of course I always have mushroom pizza).
Pasta
White chocolate

Crab
Strawberry ice cream

Just added a new category in my list for food toppings and condiments. :p
