Title: Can Someone Test This Please?
Post by: landbeforetimelover on July 08, 2009, 02:05:02 AM
Sorry for the bother, but could someone test to see if this new video streaming option is working for them?  I can usually test things like this using the neighbor's WIFI, but it's offline at the moment.  It's the "Super Stream Test (In Progress)" section:

If you can get it to run that's just great.  I no longer have to rely on stupid popup windows and hours of work to embed these videos. :yes

Works perfectly fine here! Using Firefox 3.5

Edit:

Only the first video, the second one isn't an actual player.

FireFox 2.0 - asks to install latest version of Flash player even through it's already installed.

Not surprising seeing as the newest version of Flash is only compatible with Firefox version 2.5 and newer.  I know people don't like change, but if you don't upgrade things just won't work anymore.  You really need to upgrade your browser.  Firefox 3.5 is great!

First one NEVER loads.  Second one works just fine.

Might be the browser.  I'm currently using Firefox 3.5.

Hmm... Let me test this with Google Chrome.  Hang on!

EDIT: Both are laggy on Google Chrome.  They work, but boy do they lag.

Final test, Internet Explorer 8. (Recently installed, thank you very much.)

EDIT: Complete crap on Internet Explorer 8.  Then again, I suspect that to be the browser.

Well, that's my test.  I think you have some work to do. :)

the first movie didn't work for me the first time, until I tried to load the site again. Then it worked just fine.

It just won't work on IE.  If you load the page and one of the video windows is nothing but a white box, just refresh the page and you'll be fine.  I have no clue why they're not working with IE.  Perhaps I'll try reinstalling flash player.

Chrome and Firefox

I'm beginning to see a reason why IE should never be used, nowadays.

Interesting!

Nope, none of them load on IE, just like everybody else is saying. :p
