listen up, (ok, READ up :lol) as i was saying, over the past few months, I haven't seen any of the old land before time movies in stores lately-
here are the stores I checked-
Wal-Mart- It used to have like EVERY LBT movie and combo packs (which I thought was annoying, but that was before my LBT obsession revival (March 2008?), now they don't have ANY, oh wait, they do have the 13th one, (i think) and i don't remember seeing any TV show DVDs there, but i think there are, and in the Toy section, they have a lot of old DVDs that are really cheap (Scooby-Doo DVDs, Nickelodeon DVDs, TMNT DVDS, etc.), they had like 5 copies of Time of the Great Giving, but that's it. what happened?
Target- Same thing as WalMart, and all i see now is the 13th movie (i haven't seen it on any shelves in months, though) and a few TV series DVDs (same thing as the 13th movie). I even went to the Target in Hollywood lat year and all they had was the 13th movie.
Best Buy- Ever since the time months ago i saw copies of the 13th movie, TV Series DVDs and the 15th anniversay edition DVD, i haven't seen ANY LBT movies.
Blockbuster- They always get lots of copies of the TV series DVDs, and they have like 1 copy of most of the moviess
Universal Studios Hollywood- at the Cartooniversal store, there were lots of cartoon DVDs from Universal, but I'm preety sure thre are a few LBT TV series DVDs there.
Toys R Us- one of the most reliable sources for LBT DVDs, they have all the TV series DVDs, plus the 13th movie, and 10 months ago, HALF A SHELF was PACKED with Land Before Time DVDs and a sign said $7.50 all Land Before Time movies. sweet deal. but last time i went i only found TV series DVDs (obviously)
KMart- I HARDLY come here at all, but they do have a LBT combo pack, the 12th and 13th movies and all the TV series DVDs
So... have you noticed this lately?

Sounds bad. I got mine online, through amazon. Though I know many prefer or can't get thing online.

What do I recommend? Blockbuster Video, Toys R Us and Wal Mart (Go to WalMart if you wan the 3rd movie :)

Amazon and eBay are one of the MOST reliable sources for LBT movies
-
but what could this mean?
-
As usual, lbt hasn't been around here for years. We can only order DVDs online. I guess in America it's much more of a big deal :p

It's a funny line. Maybe I should find the movie. I liked the 1st movie when my friend came over and we watched the dvd.

There isn't any LBT in any store around here. I had to buy mine online. And like 9-13 turned out to be like pirated versions from the phillipines.

Hello people! Hasn't anyone ever been to the official LBT website?

i see only a few people notice the LBT "movie shortage" because the DVDs are bought online

I'm all for buying stuff in the store but in all honesty I buy most of my stuff online. Fred Meyers had all the DVD's in and I bought 'em all at the time. Don't know about now though. Fred Meyer doesn't exist in Minnesota. It's exclusive to Washington state. Darn I miss that store. Target and Walmart just don't cut it. <_<

unless you want the 3rd one :lol although that one's one of my least favorites

I only seen LBT VHS on sale here, in Moscow.
-
I've seen some at Best Buy, that is if I go there. <_<

amazon.com is your best bet these days to get the films. With the shutdown of the offices, I can't imagine new copies are being created of the older films, so when the stock goes out at Wally world or wherever, its gone. Same will probably apply to amazon (for new copies anyway).

yeah, that was my point. i don't see LBT films in stock anymore....

I guess most films and tv series eventually fall into that same thing. Most folks only want the most recent stuff, not old stuff as they call it.
