Well the money's gonna be rolling in now!  I just found a parts supplier here in Minnesota.  It's taken THIS LONG (about 8 months) to find a decent supplier of parts!  This state totally sucks. :p

But anyway, yeah he's a junk guy basically.  Businesses pay him to haul off their older technology and then he strips everything down and sells the stuff for raw materials (plastics, metal, fiberglass, etc).  He's willing to give me any computer parts he encounters for really cheap!  I've only gotten 1 load from him so far, but here are the prices I can get:

Optical Drives:  $3 each
PCI Cards:  $2 each
Hard Drives:  $3 each
Ram:  $1 each
Full Working PC's:  $10 each
PC's With Minor Problems:  $5 each

Now I'm not talking old garbage here.  I just picked up 12 sticks of ram.  3 sticks of DDR2 512mb, 4 sticks of DDR2 1gb, 1 stick of DDR 512mb, and 4 sticks of DDR 256mb.  The optical drives were 2 Lightscribe dual layer DVD burners and 1 DVD/CD-RW combo drive.  The hard drives were 2 80gb ATA and 1 160gb SATA.  The PCI cards ranged from ethernet cards to AGP 256mb graphics cards.

Some of the stuff wasn't working but that's because this idiot isn't a computer person and never grounds himself.  From now on he's just gonna hold any computers he gets so I can check 'em out and strip 'em if need be.  The PC's range from 1.8ghz P4's to Intel Dual Core 2.2ghz machines and I can seriously get them for $10 each if they're fully working!  $5 each if they have some problems.  Some companies update their technology yearly and this guy sure knows how to get the good stuff!  I just hope no one else finds out about this guy and then there's competition. :lol
