This is a very exciting time for us all! Youtube has reached an agreement with Warner Music Group to allow their music to be used on Youtube. THE FANS HAVE FINALLY WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now what does this mean for Sony Music and Universal Music, I'm not entirely sure how that will work, but on the bright side we can now use Warner Music artists on Youtube again! My faith in it has been restored!
Here's a link to the official article to prove that this is not a joke it is actually happening!

Now if only Toei Animation will stop going after TeamFourStar, everything would be perfect. They don't realize that it's free advertising.
-
I shall test some of the videos that were muted over this right now. :)
Edit: Looks like the coding for such a thing has yet to be removed, but it should be within a few days.
-
I imagine it will take a little bit before the automatic encoding message is removed, but at least it will be taken care of finally.
-
I'll probably wait a while before I do this, but I may go in and remove all my audio changed videos that WMG claimed and reupload them in their original format.
-
Very well. Even though I only had a few vids blocked by WMG I do understand that others had a lot more problems with it.
-
Now if we can just win against Universal with putting Land Before Time on there, I'll declare YouTube perfect. :D
-
now i can add Nickelback music in my vids!
-
we win w00t!!! :D :) :D
-
we have not won yet....i just uploaded a vid created by me with the song - linkin park- Numb and it disabled the sound....can someone please check to see if the audio swap worked..the library computer doesn't have sound

I imagine it won't be for a while before the changes have taken place.
-
i suppose
i'll re-upload it in a week or so...
-
Its exciting yes. Its like adding copyright music to the public domain
The fans have won? meh, really its all still about money, not much about fans winning. I haven't read the article yet, but I'm assuming Youtube is having to pay a certain amount of money for its users to use this material. Amiright?

Some of my videos were removed because of copyright issues...

And now it's allowed to upload these songs?! Yay! :D
Some music videos are only "country-related"... is this problem solved now?
