Title: RP idea: LBT Martial Arts

I got this idea from rewatching the world tournament storylines in the Dragonball trilogy:

Set in an somewhat AU, the Great Valley and Mysterious Beyond inhabitants would throw a martial arts tournament with the prize being...(I'll need some help coming up with ideas for the prize..) There are two divisions: the kid's division and the adult's division.

The rules of the tournament are no injuring your opponent in a way that could hurt them permanently (So sharpteeth can participate) or killing them obviously.

Is anyone interested in this idea? And if so, who would you want to control?

Oh man...I'd WANT to join...I just can't do anymore stuff at the moment...with school, the rp I made and few other things...I can't at the time being. :( Maybe when I'm not so busy I'll join later. :)

I'm not going to join but I'll offer logistical support.

First off, you may want to clarify some things:

1.) Are bouts, species segregated? (Like a Karate tournament - Longnecks fight only Longnecks, etc) or is it not species segregated? (Like a mixed martial arts fights - Fast-Runner can fight a Swimmer)

2.) Are there armed combat divisions? (staff and stick fighting and the like?)

3.) Are there specific disciplines that the dinosaurs have to choose? (Like striking only, grappling only, no use of tails, etc.)

1. Nope, there's no species segregation

2.  Armed combat divisions are not in this, only a dinosaur's natural strength.

3. There really aren't any specific disciplines other than the 2 I mentioned in my original post.
