Title: Interview with an OC
Post by: Chiletrek on December 05, 2009, 05:58:57 PM
Hello:
I've been having this idea for quite some time now, but I was never sure when to post it because of time restrains (there is never enough time as we want it to be).
My idea is that we can choose any OC from a LBT or non-LBT rpgs of the ones actually been played here in GoF. After the OC is chosen, we give some days so people can post questions for that OC, after that, the creator of that OC will try and reply the questions in the best possible way as we know there could be questions that could spoil plots for the rpgs and for the character's own stories too, so we must be careful with what we ask.
So what do you think? is it possible for this idea to be carried out?
If there are any OCs voluntaries, they can be chosen too :DD .

How about one from the Fantasy RP? Or free-form fantasy?

Hello:
@Noname: Yes, as I said, it can be any LBT and non-LBT rpgs. So it can be any character from any rpg :DD .

@Kor: Thanks for your reply, I hope other people will like the idea too, so we can have fun with this :yes .

Hello:
And thanks for your support. Now, if any of you would like to nominate an OC for an interview, it would be great indeed :DD .

Maybe, if it comes that there are too many OCs been proposed, I could then make a poll, and the interviews would take place based on who got more votes. The most voted first, and so on.

And remember than anybody can post questions for the chosen OC.

Well... you and I have already started this on MSN... with your RP characters... mine too. XD

How about we start with Adykon? He's the main character in the Fantasy RP, and anyone who has spent more than five minutes looking at that RP will see his name.  :D

You could do a list of the oc's and gradually work your way through them at a pace you can easily do.

We should start with the one we are interested in, actually. We could even try Kravik and Sivar... your old characters from the fantasy RP, Kor.

This could actually be very interesting :D

Maybe doing this will help me come up with ideas for my eventual fanfic story about Zaine

Adykon, Rhiga, Vespion, Vaeri, Selturma, and Arcantas are the best ones on my end to interview, although I could do any character of mine.

Maybe someone can do a list of oc's that can be interviewed.  I have quite a few.  Not sure if folks want me to list all of mine.

Hello:
We will never know until you make the list Kor :DD . But if you ask me, my first choice to make an interview from your characters would be Mim.

As for my own characters, I have:
LBT ones: Cayso, Racnar, Trod and Rhamphy.

Non-LBT ones: Eriol and Arianne.

Now, we will need some a method to decide which character we should interview first.

- Off-topic: Yay!, this is my post number 3000! :smile .

How about we post a character, first come-first serve, and see who asks questions.

If this is what we decide on... I call dibs on Adykon to go first!   :DD

Instead of calling dibs it can be done maybe alphabetical by character or user maybe.

I have a long list of oc's:

LBT oc's: Mim, Mia, Deon, Rhyn.  I've done some other characters but they only appeared once or just in 1 rp.

----

Insane Cafe: Jason, Sara, Moran, Odysseus.  In past chapters I've had Mim be a companion of Jason, and later with her own tardis with a yoshi and a charizard as companions, forgot their names, & Hoopy.   Hoopy the yellowbelly has been a companion of Jason's also.

Also seen brielfly were Markus Darkwood, Douglas Brown, also.

-----

Kravik and Sivar, used briefly.  Don't recall the names of the others I've done briefly on here in the past.

Alphabetical order has nothing to do with how interesting the character is, nor does alphabetical order have anything to do with how well-developed, popular, or well-heard of the character is. Since the most prominent characters are the ones who people would like to known more of, those ought to go first.

Plus... "Adykon" is close the the beginning of almost ANY alphabetical order.  :lol
