Is your OC Sweetie named after your pet snake Sweetie :smile?

@ Cancerian Tiger: Yes she is. :DD

@ Zaine: I tend to draw it out traditionally on paper with a good ol' fashioned pencil and then I do the line art on Adobe Illustrator and add the color in Photoshop.

Standard question to all who have read Twilight Valley.

What got you interested in it?

Do you have any recommendations?

Do you support Communism or Democracy

Not to answer a question for someone else Paradise Bird, but you do realize, that communism and democracy are not the opposite ends of an identical spectra and therefore  do not necessarily exclude each other?
The opposite to communism would be free market economy / capitalism while the counterpart to democracy would be autocracy.
There are examples (admittedly few) of democratically elected communist governments (which of course means that the next election might end communism in the country) and there are examples of capitalist autocracies.

I gotta admit, the first thing that got me interested in your fanfic Serris was the prospect of all out war....something that up until I read the first chapter hadn't ever crossed my mind. Unfortunately I stopped reading around chapter 5 and now I've got some major catching up to do! :oops :lol

If I had to choose between the two I would most certainly choose Democracy as it is the foundation upon which my home country seems to run on.

Hey, you're a Chicago native and resident.  I was just reading a bit about the Bachelors Cemtery in Chicago, and this leads me to the question:

Is there any chance you've been there?  If so, is it really as spooky (if not spookier) as it sounds online?

I regret that, since I was still a kid when I lived there, I never did see it nor had I heard about it.  My mother would've been too paranoid to take me even if I knew about it anyway :p.

Somebody's probably already asked you this, but what inspired you to start doing fanart, and how did you get so good at it? :D
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 15, 2010, 04:08:33 PM
@ Cancerian Tiger: No unfortunately I have never been. I have heard about it...however I have never had an interest in going. Hmm...perhaps I should one day.

@ LBTfan13: It depends on what fanart we're talking about...if it's land before time...then I owe that one to Sky. His one tutorial on how do draw Littlefoot game em a basic understanding of how to out line any LBT dinosaur. If however we're talking about pokemon...(Or anything Anime related for that matter :lol) I just tend to wing it. :DD

Since you asked me this, now it's your turn ;)

How would Longtail take Zaine's death?
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 18, 2010, 05:52:23 PM
To be honest... Longtail's reaction to Zaine's death would probably go in this order:

1. Mental and Physical shock.

2. Uncontrollable, mindless, horrid rage.

3. Life threatening depression

4. Unreal, irrational paranoia

5. Loss of all mental stability, and possible heart attack/stroke.

:oops Not a pretty ending for someone so...headstrong...but in honesty with Longtail and Zaine being almost like brothers....that's most likely how the situation would play out over the course of several weeks to a month.

Wow, that's harsh

Because Longtail is ALWAYS watching, does that make him Santa Claus?

I've been wondering this now....how much of a friend does Hunter consider Luna?  I mean, would she be rather....protective about her? Undertanding of her, etc, etc? Especially with Luna's....flaw, wanting to keep everyone happy sort of thing....would Hunter perhaps try and help her out with that?

Yeah, was wondering about that sort of thing is all, cause I know they're pretty much friends, even though Luna is a bit odd at times

To be honest Drake, at this point in time Hunter would see Luna as a younger sister. And with that knowledge in mind, she'll do almost anything to protect Luna, and with Luna's "flaw" Hunter would actually see that as a positive and would indeed try to help Luna keep everyone as happy as possible.

Hehe, that would make Luna happy to have a sister of some sort to look out for her XD

And I didn't expect to hear that, about Hunter trying to help Luna keep everyone happy, as I know that it is impossible to do so, someone will always be angry with the desicion Luna would make....especially her father

Speaking of which, I take it that none of your characters like Luna's father eh? Or, better question would be, what do they actually think of him?
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 21, 2010, 12:29:25 AM
@ Brekclub: I've only seen the frist three....I honestly didn't even know there WAS a forth An American Tail movie. :oops

@ Drake: While most of my characters don't get along with Luna's father, most of them do understand...at least a little why he acts like he does. However they don't enjoy the fact that he seems to treat his daughter so unfairly.

Hehe, I thought as much....well, had a rough idea anyway

Now for another question on another note entirely.  I hear you're a Star Wars fan...right? Anyways, what did you think of that Clone Wars movie? If you've seen it that is.

I mean, I hear people didn't like it, but I liked it myself and was just wondering what your thoughts were on it if you had seen it that is.
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 21, 2010, 01:31:28 AM
:lol Now that's an easy one. Since I didn't see it in theaters, I actually waited till it was out on DVD before renting it...and I have to say it was really well done. I noticed almost right away that they used the style of the Clone Wars Cartoon series and simply transitioned it to 3D, a wise move on their part. Secondly, the voice acting was spot on, I really couldn't tell they'd gotten other voice actors to play both Anakin and Obi-wan.

So all in all I enjoy the movie...and would like to see it again. :yes

Hehe, that's awesome to hear that someone else liked the movie as well.  I personally liked the droids in there on how they acted....just so darn funny

Another question now! Since it came to me just now, do you own either a PS3 or an Xbox 360? And if so, do you actually play any games online?

Granted, I don't play games online too much, especially with my Xbox 360, since I only have Silver membership with it....and I usually play on my PS3 more often now XD

Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 21, 2010, 02:12:04 AM
:DD I happen to own an Xbox 360 as well as having a 1 year gold membership. However I am only able to play online when at my friends house for the moment. I don't have the adequate funds to purchase a wireless Xbox router.

Aww, that sucks in a way, but lucky you for having a 1 year gold membership thing.

Another question about the RP.....are you glad that I joined in the RP of yours as well?  Just curious on your thoughts about, well....me in it is all....and do tell the truth too please :yes

Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 22, 2010, 01:29:29 AM
First and foremost, I am glad you joined my RP. :yes I am also impressed you are able to devote so much of your time to this RP, as I'm sure your real life studies and things are far more important. :smile I would be honored for you to join any RP in the future here on the GOF.

Daw, thanks GVG ^^ one reason is, different timezones for us, so right now, it's actually the evening which is why I have more time XD

Okay, here's a random senario(sp?), based upon what Littlefoot had said in your RP.  They want to leave Luna, as in, not take her along with them....would Hunter interject by any chance? You know, stand by her sister? Argue her point across and the likes?

I say sister cause that's what they would generally be now, well, like a sister....er....you know what I mean! :lol

And a second more random question.....do you like the questions I ask you? XD
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 22, 2010, 02:31:54 AM
Well of course Hunter would stand up for her new sister. That's not a question but a true statement. :yes

And yes I find these questions refreshing, and to be honest, they are helping me along with the RP as well!

Post by: MrDrake on April 22, 2010, 02:37:35 AM
They are? Even the one about online gaming? :lol

Sorry, could not resist that one

Must think of new question for you....um....uh....oh I know! *clears throat* It's another Luna and Hunter question, cause I find it getting rather interesting I suppose you could say XD

Now for the question, I take it Hunter is also pleased to have a younger sister like Luna? I mean, I take it that Hunter, like Luna, doesn't really have any siblings? Since all Luna has is her father XD

I figured I would ask another question since you enjoy them so much ;)

Team Edward or Team Jacob

:DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD  :DD

Just kidding, I know I already asked you that

 :slap

Anyway, the real question now.

Longtail is really pissed off at Littlefoot now, in fact pissed off is probably an understatement. How is the flyer ever going to calm down?
Title: Ask the Guardian
Post by: The Great Valley Guardian on April 22, 2010, 12:41:39 PM
@ Drake: Yes, Hunter is rather pleased to have someone to consider a sister to her, having previously slain her whole family and being an only child to boot, she never felt like she had a family to belong to.

@ LBTfan13: Actually I had something planned. It will be shown in my next post. ;)

It's about the RP.  Do you have anything special planned for it soon? Like, an earthshake? Or another Sharptooth attack? A volcano errupting with lava all aroudn the place? Anything along those lines?

Yes...yes I am. However I am not too happy with the GT series of Dragonball...it all seemed...rehashed...like they simply couldn't come up with any better ideas, and they simply used plots from the earlier series with a few minor twists.

I've recently been thinking about starting another RP. (I probably won't start it for at least another month or two, but it's basically a crossover of LBT and Bionicle.) As I thought about how it could work, I thought of a rather interesting scenario involving Longtail. (I'm not sure if you're familiar with Bionicle in any way, but I find this thought of mine to be such an interesting scenario that I just have to hear what you think will happen.)

Here's what happens: Longtail (along with the gang and any other OCs that might be there) finds himself against Vezon (http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/Vezon). (back when he still had the Mask of Life, just so you know when and where this scenario takes place) Vezon sees a bit of himself in Longtail, so he decides to bring it out by using the Spear of Fusion in reverse on Longtail. This splits him into two versions of himself.

What makes this scenario so interesting is that we all know by now that he is half-Sharptooth. Here's how I would set it up: There will be the original Longtail (whose appearance remains the same) and the Sharptooth half of Longtail (whose appearance will be slightly different, but you can still tell that he is also Longtail). But the separation isn't just physical, but also mental. In other words, the original Longtail will have lost any ability or willingness to fight, while the Sharpttoth half of Longtail will be very aggressive but also insane and not intelligent.

My question to you is this: As soon as the two Longtails are split apart, what do you think will happen?

Well, I did like the Baby Saga part, the one afterwards with Omega Shenron, didn't really see much of it myself, only saw parts of that one myself.  My favourite villain still has to be Nappa

Oh, and speaking of which, have you seen the Dragonball Z Abridged series done by TeamFourStar on YouTube by any chance?

At this point, I'll let you ignore this question if you want to. If you had read the latest chapter of my fanfic, you would see an example of what I was talking about. You can still answer this question if you want to, but seeing how complicated I made it sound, I'll give you the option to ignore it.
