I been checking up on the internet about the latest news in the UK and there been a massive heat wave over there records have been broken this year. roads melting, train tracks buckling and heat causing trouble else where in the UK.

It's been boiling over here too. Every state in the lower 48 had temps of 90 degrees or higher on Saturday, which has to be a record.

It was about 98.6 over here. They predict it is going to get even hotter!
I'm afraid we'll have to grow accustomed to such temperatures. Then again we had an extraordinarily long winter over here this year. I guess the climate here is best described by the word "nuts"!

We had an unusually warm winter up here, too.  The summer has been either warm-hot weather (in the 25 to 30 C range) or Rain. :P:   It's actually been pretty good weather all summer; not many really hot days, not a ton of rain, and a lot of comfortable weather.

Haha, I can relate!  Not many people have A/C in their homes around here.  My car, unfortunately, is too obsolete to have A/C.  It gets pretty hot in there on some of these summer days!
