I used to play mario kart as a kid on the N64. I was not good enough though, and won't be showing off here either since I really don't know my time for any laps.

Oh man i used to play Mario kart games all the time, especially the DS one (can't wait for the 3DS one). I still have to finish the rest of mirror cup on the wii version though, as the ruberband AI can be annoying at times. Even when i was big into mario kart, i never was really into the time trials, i did it a bit in the GCN, DS and wii games, but most of my time was usually spent playing with friends.

I played Mario Kart 64 alot, but never for have the best time. Just for win and get all the gold trophy. And i was not so good, there is only 1 map that i was good: Bowser's Castle. I never lost on this map, i guess i can go look my time...

Me: Aaah, old memories. Ah yes, the blue rock, ha ha. Huh, no ! Don't ram them, turn ! TURN !

* keep racing
* approach the 2nd place with blue rock
Me: you won't get me this time
* blue rock move and go right in front of me

* ram the blue rock

* approach lava
Me: You won't get me with this, im not that dumb.
* pass the lava
Me: See. I can beat AvP2010 in Nightmare, so i can beat this archaic game.
* made a false manoeuver and fall in the 2nd lava pit

* Finish the race
Me: Let see the stats...
2'29"52 for the whole circuit and 00'49"41 for the best lap.

Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, GBA Mario Kart, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, and soon Mario Kart 3DS!
I've played them all except the 3DS version which is coming soon.
Personally my favorite is Mario Kart Wii because of the WiFi.
