Hey there everyone~ Watch out because here's the nut :3 But let's keep things proper until they become not so proper.
My name is Ariel and I am a girl. I'm 18 and engaged ( 6+ happy years~ ) and love the first Land Before Time. I stumbled upon this nice place after looking up the uncut version of tLBT. ( Oddly I found a few sites that had a download for it but I feared it was more of a fake and a virus, as I've read mostly only Finnish areas have seen the uncut version, however on my tape I remember the scene with Ducky making the faces. ). I saw that it was a fairly active and kind place and just had to join! :D
To be honest, I have not seen every single sequel, I have about 2-7 or 8 on vhs but after that I got scrambled keeping track. However this site has triggered my interest and makes me want to watch them all over again~Oh the nostalgia~ <3 I'm even interested in drawing my own character ( I tend to do such for my favorite things - ie - sonic ( <- mega obsessive thanks to my fiance :3 ), invader zim, the lion king, etc ). I do this as I love to draw, in fact you can find me on deviantart ( karmarsi-kedamoki )
I hope I'll make nice and wonderful friends here and hope to overcome my shyness and talk to you all in discussion~ ( expect me to be in the first movie section and such a lot ). So I'll leave it at that, if you've got questions about me just ask here :D

As for the uncut version, there isn't one as far as we know. According to director, Don Bluth, Steven Speilburg had the deleted scenes, but he has mostly likely lost them since 1988.

Thank you both for the warm welcome <3 I have checked all the threads actually, and it's a shame we're unable to see the uncut version~ If anything maybe one day someone will gather enough info to draw a rough sketch of all the scenes or at least write a possible fanfic to them~ Nothing is impossible after all :smile

However I set my art so nonregistered users can't see my images, so you have to be logged in in order to see it. My style had recently changed so don't be surprised if you see some pretty bad drawings XD

iin this forum there are two distinct RP sections one based on LBT and another that is Random. for example your fox character could join my Toon World rp, as that has a number of Sonic characters in it..

Welcome to the forum, hope you have a lot of fun here and find many threads to post to.
Besides the toon rp there is also the insane cafe rp, but that is about to be over so best to wait till the next chapter starts before you start thinking if you want to add that to the areas you rp in, and you likely don't want to start rping int to many threads at once. Best to ease your way into it 1 at a time.

Thank you kindly Pangaea ^^ I'm always happy to hear when one likes my work, I'm not as good as a few ( 2 of which are favorite artists and another is just popular because... well think of a internet hooker with her character ) I'm happy to say I might be making work of tLBT within the next few days :D

Thank you friend <3 I been drawing since about 12, so 6 years under my belt~ and it's not all been sonic believe it or not. I started out as a teen titans person then final fantasy which turned me into a bad anthro artist for a couple years. In fact my first few drawings of sonic characters looked more or less like mutants! :lol

Same as everyone else here I am very curious of course if your tape of the uncut version of LBT is still there and working? The scene with Ducky cutting faces had been in a movie trailer back then but had been cut from the movie as it is usually known. Outcut land before time scenes are sort of our "holy grail" here :lol
Is your fiance perhaps a little interested in the land before time too (not like there weren't any not land before time related threads here anyway)? He is hearty invited to join us too of course :yes

- I'm unsure if it is, it's been years since I watched the tape. I still have a vhs player so I might be able to check :D Best part being I do have a digital cam so I might be able to record ther scene~

It's awesome that you're a tomboy. I'm a proud tomboy too, and bein' Cera's biggest fan probably gives it away :lol.
Dang, your avatar looks like it could be an actual character from the Sonic series :wow. Sonic was my fandom before LBT (I got into LBT in the second grade), but I still like to play the games, especially the old school Sega Genesis games (yes, I still have one of those puppies :angel).

BTW I like how you use a different color for all of your posts, I only know of two other users who do that, Ptyra and Vaan360. It makes your posts look nice :yes
