Title: NC's review on the Pebble and the Penguin
Post by: Malte279 on September 29, 2010, 06:33:57 AM
The Nostalgia Critic has now released his review on The Pebble and the Penguin (http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/27991-nc-the-pebble-and-the-penguin). I don't suppose you will like everything he says ScratteLover3 and I cannot comment on it having not seen the movie myself. He does mention land before time as one of the good movies by Don Bluth (as opposed to bad ones) in the early minutes of the review.

I've recently just watched it. I'm just a little disappointed he didn't poke more fun at the "Rocko suddenly starts flying" and "baby penguins can now fly" scenes. Oh well.

From what I've seen, NC's final thoughts on the movie is that it's the best out of the "bad Don Bluth movies", that it could have of worked if a few things were changed or attempted better. He doesn't think the movie is terrible, but it's not a movie he'd recommend for kids.

Well, the bathtub suicide was a one for him, but frankly, all the "killing yourself over the bad movie/game/whatever" is kind of starting to creep me out. Other than that, it was a very funny review.

Never seen it, but all his points sounded valid. To be honest, I am curious what ScratteLover3 thinks of this review.
