Title: Should I believe this kid?
Post by: Adder on November 17, 2010, 04:22:08 PM
Today in Study Hall, a friend of mine told me that The Land Before is being produced by a new studio other than Universal, and he has seen two or three new episodes of the tv series. I said: 'are you sure it wasn't some of the first season? They didn't show all them at once.' Then he said it wasn't, I'm confused on whether I should believe him or not, he did sound serious for once.

As much as I'm hoping that he is right, he's probaly just spreading rumors, and making fun of me (as usual) just because I'm older than him, and still likes LBT. But who knows?:crazy

Just ignore your ''friend'', it is obvious that he has got his information on the internet and is a bit ignorant enough to not know that you shouldn't believe everything you read without reputable sources to back it up.

In this case, no, there will not be anymore LBT television shows or film sequels anymore.  That is, of course, may change if Universal issues a statement (ie reputable source-primary) in saying that another aspect will be released.  However, it is highly doubtful that this will ever happen.

It is a shame that your friend either is so misinformed and believes everything that he reads from the internet, or, knowing how much you love the films (and television shows) that he could tell you this for the sole reason to get you so excited that you can, when finding out, become disappointed.

I use the term 'friend' lightly with him anymore. Probaly read it on wikipedia or IMDB, and believed it. There was something about season 2 on both once.

True, it is highly doubtful, but I wish it would happen. Oh well, its not my current interest, so it would be hard to get me (very) excited unless its true.

I just had a thought.  What if the rumor of "Growing Sky Stone" is back on Wikipedia?  If so, I can't believe people STILL believe this lie and I can't believe that the certain someone is STILL putting it up.

Its not. I checked The Land Before Time series and 13 pages, not there. Probaly saw it on LBT Wiki or a talk page on one of the two.

I know its not me this time, I haven't edited wikipedia or LBT in months, or wikia in general because of the new look. It harder to navigate.

As much as I wish it were true, there probably won't be any new LBT material coming out for a LONG time. Possibly even never. I wouldn't believe him. Sorry. Although I do wish that land before time will continue and that they would make more of the tv show. But that's probably not going to happen. Oh well. I can dream can't I?
