I also wanna discuss about the most common colors you see in cartoons.
What do you think about most female characters being pink?
What is your least favorite colors?
My favorite color would have to be Aquagreen (Blue and green mixed). :wub
My least favorite is gray.
The most common colors I've seen in a lot of cartoons is blue. I've never been a fan of so many female characters bein' pink. Why can't they just be yellow or purple? IMO I just think the creators of that character is just not creative or is lazy. Speaking of pink, does Anyone know any male pink characters other than Tippy and The Pink Panther?

My fav color is red. I have no least fav color.
-
pink is my favorite color actually. as for least favorite don't have one..

Aqua is my favorite color as well, something about it I find very relaxing and appealing. It makes me think of being on an island, staring at the crystal clear ocean waters as the noon sun casts rays over them. It's also my birthstone color, go figure
As for pink male characters, I know of an anime character who has pink hair.

I think the pink hair really suited his eccentric personality.

@oogaboo: Well, let's not forget good ole Rinky-Dinky in this fandom other than Tippy. Though Tippy looked more light tan to me then pink. :p
But...anyway....
These are my favorite colors in this order:
1. Black
2. Red
3. Purple (especially lavender purple and very dark purple)
4. Dark Brown
As for least fave colors, definitely the very bright neon colors, they aren't very nice to my eyes. :x
I find that in the older cartoons (and in some nowadays), traditionally the antagonist and male characters are more on the dark colors on the spectrum and the protagonist and female characters have lighter colors. It's interesting how our cultural beliefs influence these cartoons and how it affects a person's psychology.
Personally, I like making my women characters have darker colors because I know women that prefer dark colors over light colors. And as for guys...well I tend to have them either have dark or warm colors.

Black and Yellow (both are my favorites)! Don't think I have a least favorite. Some of them really bright greens just hurt your eyes, though.

I like blue and green, though not bright versions of colors.
As for pink male characters, though he's not in many episodes that I've seen, only a few, though I think he appears later in the series there is a pink male digimon in season 5 (data squad).

Mine is blue.
Don't like bright colours...
The colour in films represents a person's pyschology makeup. In a lot of films and books, the character's who are dubbed 'evil' tend to be darker in colours of clothing while the protaganists are always represented by lighter colours to represent 'good' and 'bad'....although this example isn't always the case.
I know that from a film study of 300 in a Classics and Popular culture lecture before Christmas, the use of colour came up in the discussion that the Spartan heroes were represented in the 'hero' garb of bronze and red (and for war, since war was represented as red and Sparta's patron God was Ares) and the colour of the persian's costumes of gold and earthly colours were represented of the power and extravagance of the east.
In animated cartoons there is a pink gummi bear named Cubbi and a light purple gummi bear called Zummi. There are pink ogres as well, but I don't know if they are male or female...I presume they are male...
Edit: there is also a baby pink dinosaur in the tv series of Dinosaurs. The baby that hits the dad with frying pans...

My favorite colors are any shade of pink except salmon, and royal purple. My parents find pink to be feminine, so I was never allowed to buy or wear anything pink growing up. They wouldn't even get me the game boy color I wanted because it was fuschia. My least favorite color is probably green, as I've had a lot of bad experiences with substances of that color. Probably the shade of green I hate most is olive. It just seems like a dirty color to me.

.....wow...
You and I could not be more opposite when it comes to favorite colors... Minus the royal purple thing. Olive green I always found a very refreshing, sophisticated color, like something you would see in Italy.

My most favorite color is light blue. I adore it~ You're right about the pink thing ( I HATE pink. ). You always find girls being pink or girly colors. I guess it's another reason why I make Kar blue and Rain blue. Blue is associated with males and to be a tough color. I don't see why guys can't like pink. If my son likes pink so be it :D
Most hated color? Pink of course. and some shades of green and brown ( My mind clicks colors and associates them with things. imagine some shades of green and brown... yea. It's a habit of mine to get a direct name for colors. )

I like pink actually.. in fact as stated its my favorite.
