Since I've already incorporated some of the chars from this into the toonworld rp, I decided to give this PBS show it's own rp here, since I appreciate it for averting the whole "cats are bad" cliche.

Uh...if they're going to overthrow the royal cat family, I say they should be family, not just some random cats who want the crown but have nothing in common, I just don't think it would make very much sense if that happened, but that's just my opinion.

For name ideas you could look for a webpage of Chinese names, or find a website to translate an English word to Mandarin, or Cantonese.

The real names of The Miao parents are Win Bao (Baba), and Shao Fung (Mama). I found this out according to an episode guide, so we can use that in place of their parental titles.

I remember seeing a commercial for it in late auguest 2001 and about a week later it was on one morning and me, my parents and my sister watched the first episode (it was a premiere episode of about 4 episodes) and later that day we went up to Mt. Baker. Throughout fall 2001 I really enjoyed this awesome new show. :smile

If only I could find a new hooking interest like that. :crazy

Oh, and I hope they bring it back onto PBS. It was a classic show during the golden age of PBS (1999-2004) that had a female lead, of which there aren't a lot---Anne of Green Gables and Angelina Ballerina are two others I can think of, but they're gone now---well, at least the original AB; they've made a remake that's all CGI and weird :blink:
