From XBox Live for only 80 points, it's The Impossible Game.

Basically, you control a continuously moving box and press the button to jump.  You hit a spike, wall or pit, you have to start the level from the beginning.

Talk about simple yet effective! Never heard of that game before. Gotta say the soundtrack is awesome! Might see if I can land it on steam or something coz I dont have a 360. Kinda like Bit Trip Runner for Wii except....well...hardly any graphics at all!  :lol

^^I don't know if it's on Steam, but if you have an iPhone, you can try it on that instead.  Same rules on that version apply, except you touch the screen to make it jump.

However, to get them, you have to download a separate pack just to get them.

Yeah I got it for iPhone. Gotta say it's every bit as hard as it looks! I've already had over 120 tries and I only last about 25 seconds tops! It's a royal bugger that's for sure! Can;t say it doesn't have a shelf life.

Actually I find that wonderfully ironic. I'll spend £40 on a brand new game that I can complete in a few hours but I spent 59p on this bugger and I'll probably never finish it! LOL  :lol Go fig!  :DD

I've managed to clear the first stage using checkpoint flags and I've managed to get thru 60% of the level without checkpoints. It's bloody hard but as you get used to where the traps are and remember them, you do advance. A few misplaced words have slipped my mouth when playing but not as bad as that guy Spartanguy! LOL :lol

Yes and no!

I've actually managed to clear both the iPhone and Xbox levels (you get both on the iPhone version)

BUT!! I didn't do it properly  :oops

I dunno what happened, but for some reason, the collision physics stopped working after I updated it so basically, the cube slid along the floor and passed thru objects without being destroyed. I think the penultimate update had a bug in it so there was no death animation! I've updated the game again and the collision physics are back.

So in truth, I haven't really beaten it but my best run so far is 80% on the iPhone stage and 77% on the Xbox stage. Still gunning for it though ;)
