I'm sure we all know that games based on movies are just attempts to cash in on the movie's name. But has anyone played a movie or tv show based game that was actually good?
Goldeneye 007 N64
It's one of the best shooters on the N64 along with Perfect Dark
Mickey's speedway usa N64
One of Rare's most overlooked games. It's almost as good as Diddy kong racing.
Now post yours

I liked a few Spongebob Games-Battle For Bikini Bottom, The Movie, and Lights Camera Pants!
The Disney-based levels in the Kingdom Hearts series are also fun, if that counts.
I also really liked The Simpsons: Hit and Run.

I enjoyed this game for the GameBoy Advance:
The Land Before Time - GBA (also known as "The Land Before Time Collection")
It's a nice side scrolling game with outstanding music, many levels and good graphics.
More information here (http://spong.com/game/11029764/The-Land-Before-Time-GBA)
There was another game for the GBA with the name "Land Before Time: Into the Mysterious Beyond", but I disliked it because of the bad game control.

Weird. From what I've seen of the other LBT videogames, they kinda sucked.
But I can totally see them as a side-scroller.
As for mine, I'd think it's games based on the expanded universe of the film that work best, rather than a videogame based exclusively on the film. Examples include:
LOTR, Battle for Middle Earth
Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2

I have that game too. It kinda had a lack of content, I was able to beat it in less than 30 minutes.
Starwars Episode 1 racer N64
Pretty fun racing game from Nintendo and when you have the expansion pak, the graphics are so badass they rival the Dreamcast.

I for one did the Golden Eye 007. I don't own the remake for the Wii yet. I will soon. I did enjoy a ton of the Pokemon Games. And I still enjoy playing Pokemon Games.

The Spiderman, Spiderman 2, and Spiderman 3 games. These games are the best Marvel superhero games out there. They're certainly the best Spiderman games.
Most of the Star Wars games
Atlantis: The Lost Empire on the PS1
-
The Star Wars game for the Nintendo 64 was I thought was good.
-
Jedi Knight + Addon Mysteries of the Sith
Battle for Middle Earth 1
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
-
Don't forget Earth Worm Jim was a T.V. Show and a video game. And I loved that game. I played it constantly back in the day. Great game,
-
Knight Rider: The Game on PC and PS2
The Simpsons arcade game.
the Star Trek arcade game
the Star Wars:Episode IV arcade game
the Jurassic Park arcade game.
-
I've played some of those games. And they're not bad games at all.
-
Rio (DS version)
It's a nice hybrid of a 2D platformer and a rythym game and is a WHOLE lot better than the rubbish party game, but some of the flaws are the short length, lack of content and poor multiplayer.
I did find out through hacking that the game was going to have Wifi support (a lot of unused wifi related text was hidden in the rom) but was scrapped for some reason :confused

I thought Resident Evil was a decent game.
-
Resident Evil was a good game series, but the movies aren't all that great. The first movie was good but its sequels weren't.
-
The second movie was pretty good. The third was all okay.
-
Wolverine: Origins
Captain America: Super Soldier
Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters
Wanted: Weapsons of Fate
That's to name some off the top of my head anyway XD
-
Scott Pilgrim VS. the World
Well... okay so it's a game based off a movie which in turn is based off of the graphic novel series. But still...
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Ghostbusters (2009)
-
Yeah the movie looked decent. Not great but still kinda cool.
The classic horrible E.T. Video Game for the Atari.
-
@Spartanguy
Forgot about the Ghostbusters game. That was awesome XD
-
Ah the one for the X Box? Or the different one.
-
Well the one I had played was on the PS3 and that is technically a game based upon the movie. In particular, the franchise itself.
All it was called was Ghostbusters: The Video Game.
-
The Back To The Future game that was released last year.
It was what the other BTTF games should've been.
