Okay, I got the oppurtunity to watch LBT 7 on Cartoon Network a bit ago.
Now, even though English is my first language, there are times I miss what the charcters say, so I have the captions turned on.
Now, we get down to the last scene where Pterano is being exciled from the Great Valley for 5 cold times.
When Petrie says goodbye to Pterano, I noted that he said this:
"I will miss you, uncle."
Note the "I".
Have we actually known Petrie to say that in the sequals? No!
He either says "me" or "Petrie" in place of "I".
I even checked the original DVD I hold, and ended up with the same result.
How did we miss this? :unsure:

Huh. I just noticed that, too. I guess it was a one-time thing, as I don't think Petrie said 'I' anywhere else in the movie. I don't really know why he said 'I' though. "Me will miss you, uncle," would have worked perfectly find in my opinion. But then LBT 7 was done...poorly, especially in the animation department. Which is sad, because it was my favorite sequel (I haven't seen anything past 9 yet).

Petrie has actually said "I" in the first film and only the first film. I think this issue was brought up in another fourm on this site. I do remember two right off the top of my head. The first was when Petrie tried to fly, but fell down.
"I fly?" Petrie asked Ducky.
"No, you fall." Ducky replied.
Petrie starts to sob, "I fall!"
I loved that moment. :lol
The second was at the end when Petrie did actually fly. He said, "I flying." I haven't seen the 7th movie in awhile. I should check it out. I think he said "I" a couple of more times during the first movie. Can't remember though. :huh:

"I smell...I smell...Ducky."
"I flied?"
So Bluth didn't give him that bad of an impediment. :p

Well, it looks like the guys beat me to the punch. Yeah, Petrie had some moments where he said "I" in the original, I think its the sequels where he never said it again for a long time.

What am I looking at? The fact we're giving responses about Petrie saying I in the first film and not the sequels, or the fact there's a typo there....?

Well, now that you mention it he does say "I" in number 7. He does say "I" many times in the first movie though. Just, really not anymore in the sequals.

Of course we have, he says, "I teach you how to fly" in "You're one of us now" in 2. This isn't a first. :)
Oh, and he never said "me" in the first movie.
