Title: Genres and tv/movies.
Post by: tempestwheel on September 12, 2011, 08:42:41 PM
Do you think there any genres of work (comedies, horror, action, adventure, drama, etc....) that you feel either work better when they're tv shows or when they're movies?

For me, personally, the genre of mystery works better in tv shows. Maybe call it shallow, but I like the episodic nature of mystery shows and I'd rather have a new whodunnit/howdunnit every week as opposed to just one mystery.

Though, I won't deny that my favorite horror movie series, Scream, is all whodunnits, but they don't really have big deductions, just reveals.

What about you guys?

What? That last part confused me. You repeated yourself there.
