Live Action 101 Dalmations
Man, I haven't watched this since I was little.

Glenn Close's performance as Cruella de Ville is absolutely fantastic. Especially in the parts where she has to SCREAM HER LINES. She does an excellent job playing a psychopath who seriously needs some counseling. Also a psychopath who doesn't think her puppy skin coat heists through very well.

I mean...she steals eight litters of puppies, one of whom was raised by one of her own employees who inspired her puppy skin coat obsession in the first place, probably one right after the other, while police were already on the search for someone who had killed and skinned a tiger IN THE LONDON ZOO AND LEFT ITS CARCASS IN ITS ENCLOSURE...you'd think she'd be aware that police would start getting suspicious that all nine events were made by the same person. But that's just probably part of whatever psychological issue she has. That's one of the biggest things that went over my head as a kid...the thing with the tiger. I was aware of the coat...but not the story behind it. "Officials found the tiger's evisected body in its enclosure" HOLY LITTER SCOOPER, WOMAN!!!

The biggest thing I didn't care much for was the Home Alone antics...at least they were very brief. Horace and Jasper weren't quite as fun as in the cartoon...except that their actors would one day play Mr. Weasly and D. House XD . Well, and when they happily went into a police car after all they went through.

And that Roger wasn't a musician like in the cartoon. That was just...no.

But it was so much fun watching it now that I'm older.

AND IT NEEDED SERGEANT TIBBS THE CAT!!! Tibbs was flippin' awesome!

Okay. This one isn't necessarily critique, but I'm working on a story that I would like some help with.

Like...a lot.

My computer does not seem to like that particular download. My security system blocked it.

Also, I can't figure out how to open my files on Authorware

So, I just got back from my trip to Minnesota with a flashdrive full of a roleplay I've been doing with the friend I was visiting.
She had it divided into parts on her mac as .textclipping files, probably forgetting that I had a Window's 7 computer (I didn't bring it with me on the trip).

I have tried to find something to convert the files or at least get them so I can read them.

Can anyone give me some advice or point me toward a solution?

So this is a debate my boyfriend and I have every time we end up talking about dinosaurs. Basically:
Him: Deinoncyus can take down a tyrannosaurus rex. They work in packs, are fast, and are smart. It would be like wolves attacking a really big moose.

Me: No they couldn't. Tyrannosaurus could crush them like bugs. Yes, deinonychus are smart, but smart enough to know that they should stay the f*** away from tyrannosaurus rex. They know they would get their tails handed to them. I can imagine they'd attack a small one, but not a fully grown adult! It's what they did with sauropods-attack the small ones. (I never brought this up to him, realizing it later, that wolves don't hunt healthy moose, but elderly/sick/wounded moose. They'd be crazy to go after a healthy one.) And as thick as their claws are, I'm not sure they can get through a T-Rex enough to kill it.

This came up yesterday at a restaurant and I even asked the waiter his opinion. He agreed with my boyfriend.

But since you're so full of dinosaur knowledge, I was wondering about your opinion.

If there's a lesson of bullying to be made, take the message from Friendship is Witchcraft: Episode 9 - "Seed No Evil" at around the 11:10 mark.

All my life I've been picked on by bullies, and used to believe that bullies were abusive because they were abused themselves. But now I realized that some ponies are just cruel and deserve to be punished. I don't want to just accept the bad life I've been handed. From now on if I want something, I'm going to take it. I don't want to go to clown school, or end us as some lonely middle age elementary school teacher, unfulfilled and wondering how I let my life get this way. I'm not some Christmas Special Martyr here to make you feel better about yourselves. So my project is symbolic of all my complex feelings...

:cry no truer lesson has ever been uttered in the history of mankind *sob*
That bit was great...and honestly a big part of why I liked the parody better than the original. The "Christmas special martyr" thing really grates my teeth.

Okay, once more, I am updating.
Returning to my Dinotopia OCs, Penny and Krau...except there's been one dramatic change.

Krau, who was once a Stenontosaurus, is now a Tenontosaurus. And his abilities of human speech are probably dramatically reduced.

Their universe is also more book-based than the mini series and series.

Incubation box numbers are
12 14 16 20
13 15 17 21

I used this as a reference for Penny

Phil: I had a dream I would make someone a hero. A hero so great, the gods would paint a portrait of him in the stars! And the people would say..."that's Phil's boy"...unfortunately I don't have an idea of what my hero should look like. So I drew an ancient beast instead.

That's the gospel truth!

I'm watching Felix the Cat cartoons from the 1950's.
Ah, they were a different time XD . The bits with the eskimos was hilariously age-showing for the cartoon.

The stuff with the Little Mermaid stuff actually aren't
aren't true

And you'd be hard pressed to find a show that DOESN'T teach kids "bad messages". It's not going to happen. Parents have to be responsible and explain that those things don't happen and that it's just a story.

Rapunzel's tear recovering Eugene was actually a shout-out to the original fairy tale. I'll fast forward to the ending.

So the witch found out that Rapunzel (who was named after a type of lettuce that her mother was craving) had a lover that was visiting her. So she cut her hair and took her away. She used the hair to lure her lover in. When he got to the top, he found the witch and she stabbed out his eyes (or she shoved him out the window and thorns destroyed his eyes.)
For years he wandered around blind until Rapunzel discovered him a few years later, with their twin children. She wept when she found him and her tears healed his vison.

The idea behind the tear healing him is that they were vestigial remnants of the healing powers of her hair.

Yeah I loved Phineas And Ferb. I've seen every single episode. That is me is Disney only good show they have left in my opinion. Yeah I herd that as well. Or sometime in 2014 it will begin.
You should seriously watch Gravity Falls, then. It's incredible!
