Once it gets warmer out I'm gonna start playing again
A couple of weeks ago it was about -25 degrees C here and you could see me running along the banks of Moskva river, looking for water type pokÈmon... Though it's kind of a normal winter weather for our region. :)

Wow what an uplifting topic for Christmas Day.
True. We couldn't have picked a worse time to resume this particular discussion.

You lucky dog! I still haven't caught one and I'm catching everything just in the hopes of it turning into a ditto ;_;
I actually managed to catch another one a couple of days ago. He was disguised as a low CO Pidgey once again. Also hatched a Cleffa today.

My vote is for Chomper too.
And on this day the rumor was born that Russians hate Chomper and want him dead. :lol

An interesting question: who would've died if Universal suddenly decided to produce a new LBT movie and make it even darker than the original by Don Bluth? Hm... I think the safest route for them would be to kill off Chomper or Spike. The first variant would be an easy cop out from the moral dilemma of a carnivore hanging out with his potential prey and the latter wouldn't piss off a voice actor who'd lost their chance to work on possible sequels.

In the USA it's 6.5 hours until Christmas so it's not Christmas yet dude. Still have a few hours left.
Well, it's already the 25th of December in all of Asia, Oceania, most of Europe and Africa, so... Happy Holidays, everyone! :)

Gamers Zone / Whatcha playin'?
« on: December 24, 2016, 07:00:34 AM »
I've recently been playing a charming little indie game by the name of Oh... Sir! a lot and kind of wanted to make a stream of it, since the title got a holiday update and the time seemed right. :)

Maybe if several people ask the same question we'll have a better chance of getting a reply. :)

Sorry to raise a half a year old thread from its grave, but I was kind of late to jump on the bandwagon. :D Recently got myself a new phone and for whatever reason decided to give this game a try. As luck would have it yours truly happened to catch a ditto right after they were added to the game and nobody else I know has one. :p

The Fridge / Feathered dinosaur tail found in amber

Yup, the article I've read addressed this question and they said there was no snowball chance in hell a complete strand of DNA could be recovered from that tail.

If so then Guido met quite a sticky end.  :p
Well, at the very least he had to part with his tail at some point... Hm-m-m, I'm sure there's a way to turn this into a funny little fanfic.

General Land Before Time / Did the gang talk fully about 1st movie journey?

What past except Sharptooth? ;)
The herd of longnecks that left no green food for 5 starving kids or the pack of domeheads that terrorized Cera for instance. Both parties could make it to the Great Valley as well.

Not sure some liked it but some say it's boring but I need to see it myself to make that judgement
I was obviously asking those who have already seen the movie. <_<

Quite fascinating indeed. I've read an article about this find  last week... Do you think it could've been Guido's tail? :D

When you get down to it, the original movie and all of its sequels might as well exist in parallel universes. The gang's journey to the Great Valley would've affected the protagonists greatly and - in a way- shaped their personalities, but for the sake of keeping the extremely family friendly tone in subsequent movies the main characters never mention or even remember that phase of their lives and just act like "normal, untroubled kids". Heck, they experienced loss, betrayal, mortal dangers and fear... It would've left a scar on any kid's mind. :(

Character Discussion / Chomper and Cera Parents

Cera and her sisters also look nothing like their parents, which are gray and black/dark brown eyed. Another interesting note I noticed is that Dinah and Dana are both a gray coloration.
I've always assumed that Chomper and Cera would change color to resemble their parents more as they grow up, but yeah... The appearances of Dinah and Dana kinda throws that theory out the window. Though I'm sure it's simply the makers of the movies getting less and less serious with each subsequent sequel.

1988 Theatrical Release / Sharptooth's Eye
« on: November 06, 2016, 12:29:31 PM »
As a kid this caused a lot of confusion for me. I've read somewhere that the Sharptooth was chasing Littlefoot and the gang specifically to get revenge for the eye injury he sustained when he first attacked the young longneck and Cera... But in the movie he already had one of his eyes permanently shut when we first see him. Thanks for clearing this up, Phantom. :yes

1988 Theatrical Release / A remake could actually happen.
« on: November 01, 2016, 11:26:49 AM »
At any rate it's unlikely to happen - and that's probably for the best - but let's think positive here for a little while and let our imaginations soar... If a remake and in fact a reboot of the entire series did happen, what would you guys want the "new and improved" LBT to be like? :)

Yeah, thanks. But I wonder if maybe someone on here has had personal experience in dealing with Adobe Stock or similar image sharing services in the past.
