Found some minor Adware on mine... I'm pretty sure Malwarebytes stomped AntivirusXP, but it's always good to double check

Haha, yeah, I didn't exactly have the largest attention span back then
But I'm very glad I rediscovered this place. It feels kind of like I've stumbled upon the Great Valley of the internet after wandering around in the Mysterious Beyond, if you'll forgive my corny metaphor

Thanks very much for the support! I'm constantly forgetting that 'Dropping out of art school to join the Air Force' sounds a lot different when said aloud than it does in my head But you're right. I've just gotta exercise prudence and follow my happiness. Life's quite a journey, I'm sure I'll have time to do many different things

Welcome to the gang of five. I've always thought that you should follow your dreams and do what you want to do regardless of what others expect of you or how much money it'll pay. If you like drawing then draw. If you don't want to have a career in drawing then don't. Just do what you want and you'll be happy (so long as you keep the future in mind and how your actions will affect you later on in life).

Aww, don't spread the hate. I've been teased. Some people are just going to tease you, no matter what it is you like. Personally I wear my love of LBT on my sleeve, and use it as something of a judge of character. If someone makes fun of me for it in a hateful way, I make the decision that that person isn't worth my time
As for parents... Wow. That's horrible, I can barely imagine being ostracized like that by your own family.
I really hope everything goes well for you. It really saddens me to hear about that.

Yep, after months of dormancy, the one-post-wonder has returned!
I figured making a new topic would be less confusing than digging up my old welcome post, so heeeeere we go!
My name is Erika. Feel free to call me by it, or by any part of my username. Whatever works for you, works for me
I'm currently a freshman in college, majoring in 2D animation, but I'm seriously considering joining the air-force instead. I will always truly love drawing, but I just don't think I want to work in the industry. I'm too meticulous when it comes to art It breaks my heart to have to do a rushed job to meet a deadline.
Other than art, my interests vary widely. Whenever I have the time, I'll read any book anyone throws at me. I love mathematics, and really want to take more math courses. Another reason not to be in art school, haha. I have a passion for aviation and space exploration, and am currently working towards getting my Private Pilot's License. Honestly I just love learning. Share whatever knowledge you might have! You'll win my eternal gratitude.
You all seem like amazing people from what I've seen so far! Thanks for being patient with a noob I look forward to talking with you guys!

Good all of the time. Especially when sick. Which I am
My mom keeps asking me if I've started drinking coffee yet, and each time I say 'no' she replies 'Good. Don't.' And my dad says he's trying to wean himself off of coffee... So I generally stay away from the stuff Plus I had it once and wasn't fond of the taste, anyways.
