10/10! Gorgeous! I love the transparency.

Oooh, Kamen Rider. I had a friend who wrote a Kamen Rider fic.
And yeah, shorty's head is hard to draw  :p I'll get the hang of it one day!

Ooooh, there are so many.

Loved fighting the Ninja in the first Metal Gear Solid game.

An old favorite is the Great White Shark in Ecco: Defender of Earth's Future. Not particularly difficult or epic, but I have fun with it :)

Yeah, you're right, it does seem like the romance with the strongest story and character development possibilities. But who knows, with five more to come it's also possible that they'll introduce a new love interest. I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Po and Tigress' kids?! Now that's a scary thought  :lol

I liked Wall-E a lot too! I think it was much more suited to win than some of Pixar's other works that ended up taking home the gold. But ah well, it's just another silly award anyways.

I think I read somewhere that Kung Fu Panda was originally written to be the first of six installments. Or maybe it was three... But I think it was six, because I remember being surprised when I read it. Of course, if it doesn't continue to be profitable they'll almost certainly drop that idea.

I'm kind of glad that someone other than Pixar won... It kinda felt to me like they kept giving Pixar the gold just because they're Pixar. But then that's just me  :smile

General Land Before Time / Favorite LBT sequel songs.

Adventuring is one of my absolute favorites. It reminds me of parading around the school grounds with a couple of friends signing it when LBT 10 had first been released. Every now and then I still randomly start singing it, haha.

Peaceful Valley is a wonderful start to the sequels. It really portrays the gang's relief and joy after the darker events of the original film, and sets the much different tone for the adventures to come.

I really adore Beyond the Mysterious Beyond. While I think they could have dropped the alien concept and just left a lot of mystery surrounding the Rainbowfaces, this is still an absolutely gorgeous number.

Big Water! It's really catchy, and a successful tune overall. I love hearing it referenced over and over again, heh.

The Lone Dinosaur. It was one of my friend's favorites. I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me over the years. It's a great storytelling example and really displays Littlefoot's enthusiasm.

Family is nice. I actually really like The Lesson, too. The tune isn't very inspired, but it's quite insightful and awfully sweet.

The Yellow Belly Dance! It's just ridiculously fun, I listen to it a lot. Flip Flap and Fly, too.

And, of course, Things Change, No One Has To Be Alone, and Best of Friends are all absolutely beautiful.

LBT Audio Play Project / GOF voice actors

Thanks Malte! I didn't see this thread, so that's probably what happened.

Thanks for your interest, that should help quite a bit, since I guess most voice actors will be male.  Any particular characters you think you'd like to do, just out of curiosity.

Well, my voice might be good for Cera. I also might be able to play Grandma Longneck. I think I have a relatively broad range, but I guess I won't know until I try :) Ducky would probably be a stretch, but again I'm willing to try anyone. As far as actual voice acting skill goes, I've had a bit of experience in the past, but I can't say I'm an expert, haha. Can't wait to hear all of the voice work everyone comes up with!

I would be happy to model some trees! I think if we modeled our own, it would make for a richer environment. There's always the option of making a single model for each species of tree, along with some slight variations for a more naturallistic look, and then just using multiples of said model for forrested areas. If that's do-able, as far as programming goes. Sadly I don't know much about programming, though I've been meaning to research it.

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Also! I just thought of something. If you need any of environment elements modeled as well, i.e. different trees, cliffs, rocks, flower things, etc., it might be wise for modelers to work on those things first to hone their skills. It'd be a good warm up for much more complex character models, plus it's probably something that needs to be done anyways.

Okay, well, I couldn't wait to start using Blender, so I downloaded it. I've gotta say, I'm really having a blast! I still can't promise anything anytime soon, but I'll keep you posted :)

Also, I had a thought:
3D modeling seems to predominantly be about finding the simple shapes in characters. As this is also the basis for 2D animation, that means the simple shapes in the character models from the movies/tv show could be of great use to anyone doing 3D modeling for this project. Now on to the point. As a 2D animator, I'm well versed at finding the aforementioned simple shapes. If I studied a lot of screenshots of the gang and possibly some of the supporting characters, I could theoretically make accurate model sheets detailing their simple shapes. Now, I would definitely be doing this for any character I ended up modeling, but the question is would anyone else find this useful? If so I'd be happy to do the job for any character needed and post it for public viewing.

I hope that was useful at all, haha. Sorry if I'm just rambling, I'm new to this whole forum concept.
