Exactly. Its people like Judith Barsi's father who cause violence. (Judith Barsi was the orginal voiceof Ducky who was murdered by her father.) If only he hadn't shot himself after that, then he would have gone ot jail and we would have the satisfaction of knowing that he would have been someone's plaything.

Yep. I've seen that book at the bookstores a while back. I just didn't buy it because I didn't have any money at that moment.

Comic book? Never seen it.
I'd highly recommend reading some of Tolkien sometime, when you have the time, of course, Arven. It'd be worth it.
Word of advice if you want to read "The Lord of the Rings": Pace yourself and expect them to be a lot different than the movies, because they are.
