Has anyone checked out the new gameplay footage and displays at the latest E3?I've been reading the hands-on editorials and its supposed to be really awesome and have the best FPS console controls ever.
Doesn't Metroid 3 hit the US shelves pretty soon? We've got October as our expected release but I'm sure it's in America's stores in the next few weeks.more like tomorrow or tuesday actually and i'm really phyched for its release. Has any one seen the videos on the Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel you can download on your Wii? It looks like Mother Brain might actually be in the game.
Funnily enough, my Wii is the very first console I've actually gone out and purchased myself! All my other consoles were shared presents with siblings for Xmas or birthday presents.heh heh same here. I've always slpit the cost between my two brothers, but now that one of them has moved and the other bought a 360 i was left to buy the Wii by myself. But that doesn't really bother me that much.
Lain_EX, your last two posts were chain breakers, by the wayActually the rules say that you can switch around the last 2 letters of the word, but i thought that it was only used if you can't think of any words. In this case i will havae to switch around the letters "yx" to "xy" to make the word
If you want to go for a hard Mario game, try Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. THAT is where we're talking hard. Tons of reviewers have given this one "Hardest Mario Game Ever!".I have played that game, haven't beat it without save states though. I'll try again when Super Mario All Stars comes out for the VC.
BTW, Super Mario Sunshine was awarded second hardest. It is especially hard to get ALL the Shine Sprites. (One thing I have yet to accomplish. )I also heard that as well. I've been meaning to try it but haven't got around to it.
I've heard about those who have done a 100% speed run in just 1:30. Think you can pull it off?Possibly. But i've been getting around 2:10 with 99% for the last couple of tries, including on an emulator, which is easier fo me to play. I could use start using save states, but i don't consider that fair.
I read in Nintendo Power itself that someone completed the game in under 40 minutes (I think it might have been 0:39 or so). They had to have used glitches to have pulled that off.Theres a video on you youtube of a guy getting 100% in 55min. Using all the good old glitches like the murder beam and such. I'm fairly sure its a tool-assisted run though. I don't think i will be pulling off 40min on a any% speed run any day soon on Super Metroid. I did however beat Zero Mission on easy in 38min 25sec though. ~40min on mormal, and haven't done a hard speed run yet.
One Mario game I definitely did not like was Mario Sunshine. It was too difficult and the camera controls drove me crazy.I've never played Mario Sunshine, i dunno why, just never got around to it. As for the difficulty,i would gladly welcome increased difficulty because it seems that the more recent games have been easier. Heres to hope that Galaxy will be harder.
I consider Spyro to be an excellent game, as I'm very partial to dragons, and this was the first game I found where I could play as a dragon.I to like dragons, in fact, they're my favorite out of all the mythical creatures and yet i've never played any of the Spyro games or Reign of Fire before. Speaking of dragons in games, i think theres a game coming out for the ps3 where you get to play as a dragon. I think its called "Lair".
