You would be the first I've come across who 1.) has seen it and 2.) actually likes it.  From what I've heard, that's one mess of a film.
People have said many times, and I even say it to myself sometimes. "I have weird taste in movies and music."

I thought it was good though...I guess it's because I just like odd abnormal things...which is something that Mr. Bakshi is known for.

So I downloaded some things and I can't believe I spotted this. There is something quite missing from this image:

It's only for a split second, but I still caught it. Hahaha. Needless to say, I couldn't believe my eyes.  :lol

Wrote something last night while I was on the phone, heh.

"Of Lifting Sames"

Wellness fitting in a box
finds its way back from
a towering crumble.
Either way,
          it was meant
to flounder.
It was right to say
that we had
             always tried.

In a foreign name,
or a sovereign town,
love would cost less
if only anybody
cared to pay.

Depth is found
                     in the shallow end.
The robes are stained in salt,
for the bleach in the dye
was trampled indeed.

A left eye to view
discretion;
the right to watch
unmentionable delectables.
The treaty passed untold
for the mortal lies would
carry over
and defy a world.

None other would
         speak so brightly.
One other lost hope
       when the sky was shading.

It captured longing
and hated sound.
It garnered motions
and created ground.

                 Plucked of the denizens
                             of tomorrow.
Our tides are of lifting sames.
                             Of course the stalwart fell,
it would only be of one more rain.
                     Down it came.

Plentiful.
Only a dream could
change their minds.
With one last look,
they saw no more.

Danger betrayed.
The wrongs were never meant to be.
Names were only left to find.
Carelessness forgotten
and carelessly left behind.

Land Before Time RPG / The Wish

For a long moment, Jason just scrutinized the dinosaurs before him. It was at this point he realized who he was talking to and something inside of him broke with excitement, though he hid it beneath the nervousness that prevailed his other emotions.

Should he use his real name? Ah, why not? It's not like he can just come up with something on the spot.

"Jason..." he said at length and took a small breath as he finally managed to stand to his feet again.

( OOc, sorry for the delay x . x )

Jason just stared up at Topsy like a deer caught in headlights. The tyrannosaur was visibly shaking as he stuttered a few times before finally spitting out, "I-I-I don't know how I got here...r-really... I just...I was walking and I fell...and when I woke up I was in one of the paths over there..." He turned his head behind him to motion the direction from whence he came.

"I really don't know how I got here...honest..." he started to back away just a bit.

The prone Jason lifted his square snout to look almost directly into Topsy's horned one. The Rex's eyes widened at being that close to something he'd only dreamed of seeing his whole life, and also at the fact that said threehorn was looking right at him threateningly.

His lower jaw quivered a bit in fear as he saw the intimidating bunch before him, "Please don't hurt me..." he said weakly as he cringed away from them.

The Fridge / Insomnia
« on: January 27, 2008, 06:59:17 AM »
I've always had a hard time sleeping, and my amount of sleep seems to have dwindled since I left high school. I don't know if its just me, or if its something else, but something about this has to stop...

I've gotten alot of the normal answers for this, and it seems that I grow an immunity to them after a while. Exercise before you sleep, read before sleep, watch TV before sleep, warm milk, count sheep, sleeping pills (the first time I took sleeping meds it was the worst, and most restless night of sleep I ever had).

I wanna know what you guys do when you can't sleep, because what I do doesn't help.
Driving down to Racetrack for coffee or soda...walking around outside...web-surfing...going for late-night drives...

I got her to spin in both directions.

My mind kept seeing it as a 2-D object being flipped around, and I kinda realized this after a while. The swinging of the legs was what really got me though, but after a while it was just like she kept changing directions. She would go left, stop, turn around to the right etc etc. Like she was only following a single 180 degree rotation back and forth...

1988 Theatrical Release / Outcut land before time scenes
« on: January 27, 2008, 06:15:28 AM »
Yes, I read once that Bluth had planned on things being a bit more realistic whereas blood and general things in the gore direction were concerned. Not that I'm sure of any of these things, or that even the gore was going to be anything truly drastic. I also read that some of the audio of the film had to be rerecorded multiple times to make the children's screams less horrific-sounding. May sound weird to some, but I would honestly like to hear some of the outtakes just to get a good glimpse of what Mr. Bluth had in mind.

And in a more hopeful line of thinking, with the anniversary coming up, it would be nice to see an uncut Land Before Time available on DVD...

General Land Before Time / How did they get down there?
« on: January 27, 2008, 05:48:22 AM »
Wow, it's 4AM but I'm about to attempt logic. Here goes nothing.

Well, the shore that was level with the water and the cliff could have been on the same side of the island. I think its possible that the log could have floated over to the shore from the cliff and they could've gotten on it from there. They probably just skipped the climbing aboard scene. I mean, it was probably a difficult process for all five of them to climb on and balance it just right, and, even though I think it would have been highly entertaining to see, I think the producers and animators just saw it as an unnecessary scene so they just jumped to the paddling.

But again, it's 4AM and I'm attempting logic, but that's my take on it.
