Yeah, making new characters for a fanfic is tough. I've written some and I do have OC's but the names are hard to come up with.

If I was writing Fanfiction, I would need a team to help me, that's how bad I am.

If you use characters from another series, but don't claim them as your own, then it doesn't matter.

Example: if you use Littlefoot in a Land Before Time fanfiction, it doesn't matter as long as you don't claim him or her as your character, but with fancharacters, I'd recommend getting permission from the person who first came up with the character.

But the Characters names don't sound LBT Materiel.

It's a Good Idea I mean the generation must continue right, but I also wanted your guys opinion on what you think to.

I'm not sure it's like dinosaurs to have last names.... especially english ones.  If anything, they would be their species name like: "Littlefoot Longneck" or Cera Threehorn".

Look at the first Post and see that the characters that have had there names changed, don't have last names anymore. Just please help me change their names so there Land Before Time worthy.

• A Torosaurus named Roland Tembo who is a Flattooth Herd Defender.
  
• A Lesothosaurus named Carter who is a beginer Flattooth Herd Defender.
  
• A Leptoceratops named Ben Hildebrand who works for the Flattooth Herd Defenders, but looks after the children who's parents have been the victiums of Sharptooth Attack.
  
• A Stegasaurus named Dennis Nedry who is the head guard for the Flattooth Herd Defenders.

It wasn't just Littlefoot's Mother that knew, but his Father (Bron), and his Grandparents that knew as well.

P.S. Littlefoot's Father (Bron) was the Original Leader of "The Flattooth Herd Defenders"
"The Flattooth Herd Defenders", and he didn't want Littlefoot to know about his past until he was older, because if he found out when he was still a child then he would try to follow in his father's footsteps which would of defiantly put him in danger, especially with the The Sharptooth Uprising.

Ah. Yeah, writing story's can be tough, espiecally for battle sequences, which this story sounds like it's going to have. Well, I guess just picture it in your head and write what your thinking down on a peice of paper.  But sometimes that can be a bit tricky. Anyway, I hope you do well on this.

And the characters with normal text color aren't a threat at all, correct?

Not quite there fates are decided, but I'm still having trouble trying to explain it. Also even though some characters arn't a threat to the Sharptooth Uprising the Leader still want's them dead to make the friends and family of that character suffer (emotionally) breaking there will if I might add.
