They're Littlefoot's mother's parents, right? I remember Bron calling grandpa 'poppa longneck', and they didn't act very much like father and son.

I don't know if that's a different Cotopaxi but I've actually been on the top of Cotopaxi in Ecuador XD it was so cold lol

Wow, you've actually been there? You're right: that's the same Cotopaxi.

I wrote an essay on the poster in question. That's only tangentially related, but it certainly was a great poster to look at closely. So much is happening.

Excellent! What class was this for?

Oh, Bioshock is my favorite game. Bioshock 2 was kind of meh. They're clearly putting a LOT of effort into Infinite, though. I remember hearing the reason they delayed its release: "It's currently a good game, but we won't be satisfied until it's a GREAT game." So you bet I'm excited: I got it preordered.
Also waiting for HOTS.

Final Fantasy III (that is to say, 6) on an emulator. First time I've ever played it; it's fun.

Oh, I know what you meant :lol
I do love this painting. Like I said, it's my favorite. I've always admired how Church put such spirituality and awe in his landscape paintings. It's one of the reasons I love the land before time movies too: their back grounds and settings are gorgeous. I'd love to see this painting in real life: if I recall, it's in either Detroit or Chicago.

Lol, I did mean on the poster's side. And I know it's probably just coincidence, but I thoughtbai'd share it out of interest anyway.

I can't believe I didn't spot this before. I was looking at my wallpaper, which is of my favorite painting in the entire world, when I suddenly had a shocking revelation. Ever since I had first seen it many years ago, it always struck me as something familiar, like I'd seen the style done before. I HAD made the connection to the Land Before Time, but I thought it was more a similar style than anything else.

Then I took a look at the original Land Before Time movie poster, and then my wallpaper, and... Well...

This is 'Cotopaxi' by Fredrick Edwin Church, one of his most famous paintings and a famous piece of 'Hudson River School' style paintings in general:

And for further reference, here's an oil painted version:

And this is the poster to the Land Before Time:

I don't think this was intentional, but it's still uncanny, isn't it?

Oops, my bad. I didn't know we were taking turns.

As to Chomper, he's going to grow up, make his little sharptooth cocoon, then emerge to become a butiful Chomperfly. So obvious  :p

Alright, I got an idea: it's been six years after the latest land before time film. For almost twenty years, the gang has been doing sequels to keep the struggling Universal Cartoon Studios afloat. They remember the love and passion their creator had for 2D animation and, seeing the rise of companies like Pixar, wanted to save UAS from being closed down. After their long years of sequels, the joy they felt in doing the movies began to dim, but were still encouraged that they were doing a good thing by keeping so many 2d animators employed. When their twelve movie contract with universal expired, however, they realized that the contract that they had signed years ago had a loophole in it that nullified Universal's obligation to keep Universal Cartoon Studio's alive, and axed it as soon as the thirteenth sequel was finished. Furious that they've spent twenty years working for nothing and saddened that they failed to keep the studio alive as a tribute to their beloved creator, the gang quit the TV series they had done as a side project and went into retirement.
Six years later, the gang comes to an alarming discovery: they once again see an audience, something that only ever happens when they're being animated.
At first, they're too deep in the enjoyment of their retirement to care, figuring that who ever was animating them couldn't force them to have an adventure if they didn't want to. But then disasters start happening in their world. They are forced out of retirement and into an adventure.

I have ideas for the adventure too, but if all the other stuff isn't interesting, then neither will the adventure. I know it also isn't 100% accurate, but hey, anything for a good story, right? So what do you think?

With a story like that, there's nearly limitless potential for comedy. I can see Cera's snark being a big gold mine of humor. So what kind of story idea did you have on mind?

So, sort of like Deadpool-style fourth wall awareness? If that's the case, I've had an idea for a story like that for quite some time.
