Ah, true that. Still, it would have been nice if it was Ducky who reminded Chomper about the velociraptor or something. She just seemed superficial in the end, being I think the only charater who didn't end up rescuing somebody else in the whole episode.

I've played this before! Though my version doesn't have all the rules about dying. Mine has two rules:

1)When you think about the Game, you lose, and must say, "I just lost the game."

2)If you don't think about the Game, you are winning.

Mine's just a little more simplified. Yours is cool too.

Except the male Rainbow face actually shows compassion, and helps the dinosaurs in need. That means Q's gotta be the female one.  :blink:

Wow, that's a seriously thought-out assessment, I wish there was more stuff like that around here...

One thing you forgot was the "Escape from the Mysterious Beyond" episode, where Chomper has to comfort and protect Ducky for like 3/4 of the episode  while they're on that ledge, untill Littlefoot & co. show up and rescue them both. Also, even though Ducky mentioned wanting to help the trapped velociraptor, it's Chomper that in the end decides to actually do it.

Actually, if memory serves me correctly, I was embarrased about being a LBT fan even when I was young. Iw as going through that period in life where you're still a little kid but you're desperately trying to prove that you're not a little kid. I'd always thought that LBT was a kids show, and nobody older than 10 liked it. Mom had always tried to make me feel better, once she gave me a pamphlet proudly proclaiming across the front: "THE MOST POPULAR MOVIE SERIES EVER IS BACK!!!" I'm not sure how much it helped, but at least it made me feel like I wasn't alone.

I've always felt embarrasd about liking Land Before Time, except when the other person does as well. Lucky for me I gave it up right about when I started high school, and redicovered it some time afterwards. High School is not a place to have weaknesses like that.

It seems like an experiment to me. Any time a long-running franchise deviates from their norm, they're experimenting. THat's just kinda the definition of an experiment.
