Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

That's pretty darn impressive. Certainly better than anything I could ever do. I'm rubbish at drawing quadrupedal characters, so drawing alot of these characters would be way too frustrating for me. You did good though. ^^ No idea about the scene but I haven't seen the movies in years and I haven't seen ALL of them so yeah.

I just recently got all of the sequels on DVD. Universal has re-released a bunch of them in three-movie sets(don't know if they've made it to the UK yet, though), and the ones I couldn't find I bought on ebay :yes
Well I looked in HMV today and found a boxset with the first four films! :D I snatched it up of course. There were more boxsets there but I couldn't afford them all, so they'll have to wait.

@rhombus  I've seen II, III, IV, V, VI, a bit of VII and a snippet of X. (The
 part where Littlefoot meets his father! HERE.HUG.NOW!!!!) That's about it.

@RockingScorpion  Glad to see I'm not the only one. ^^ I'll certainly try and see all the movies, but I'll have to find them first. (I've made a rule for myself to not watch movies online.)

1988 Theatrical Release / Tell Your Story About LBT

Well, let me see. I can't remember how old I was, but at the time my adult half sister used to babysit me and one day she bought over her copy of LBT on VHS. I enjoyed it immensely! It was also my first exposure to dinosaurs. (At least I'm 99% sure it was) My parents recorded LBT for me a couple times when it aired on TV but they broke after countless rewatches. :( a few years later me and my brother were watching TV when I saw something I never expected to see. A commercial for LBT II :D Needless to say we were both excited. And ididn't take long for mum to get it for us. I quite enjoyed it as well. (Though the musical numbers caught me off guard. XD But being a Disney fan also I soon got used to them.)

I also heard that III was coming out. Then IV, then V! :o I kinda stopped for awhile after VI though. There was just getting to be too many by that point. lol Also I had gotten into Pokemon around that time. So that commanded total attention for a bit. Then my brother found LBT1 airing on TV around Easter time and childhood memories resurfaced! I heard that LBT also recently got it's fourteenth sequel after nine years of dormancy so I guess what better time to look into the series again? ^^

So.....erm.....hi.

I'm G-bot and as you can see, I'm new here. When I was little my adult half sister often babysat me and one day she came over with a Land Before Time VHS for me to watch. I loved it! I'm pretty sure that LBT was my first real exposure to dinosaurs which led to some awkward moments when I kept calling an Apatosaurus or whatever a Longneck. XD I've seen and enjoyed all the sequels up to VI but then I just kinda stopped. ^^; Pokemon came out (In the UK) and it commanded total attention, so sadly for good while LBT just lied forgotten in the deepest recesses of my mind.

But  last week around the Easter period my brother found the first movie airing on TV and it came flooding back to me! Wow it's amazing that LBT went on to have thirteen sequels (including the most recent one) THIRTEEN!!! It's catching up with Final Fantasy! And a TV series too! Wow! Might look into the movies I've missed. (Though I've heard bad things about the thirteenth one, so I don'y know might steer clear of that one. lol)

Normally when joining a forum for a show or a game I list my favourite characters, but....I really don't have any here. I love them all!  :D If I HAD to choose however then I guess the closest one to my favourite would have to be Littlefoot. ^^ There are times when I just want to hug him. (a certain sad scene from the first movie being a prime example I'm sure you know which scene I'm talking about. :(  )

Anyway I'm rambling now so I'll just shut up and enjoy myself here. Hope to make some friends with fellow LBT fans.  :wave
