One of the several forms of the dragon you control, and this one is, by lore, described as "The Messenger of the Gods".
It was from an RPG (of all things from a series that's normally a rail-shooter. But it ain't Star Fox or Nintendo, this is entirely differently). Thanks to its unique battle system and gameplay mechanics, beautiful world, gripping story, otherworldly soundtrack, it quickly became one of my all-time favorite video games ever. It's also one of the reasons I began working on a graphic novel & may want to go indie-dev.

Finally got this brutal beast done. And while I am still slightly sick too. This is for a friend I know, hence his character featured here riding on Lagi, the dragon in Zwei. It was for his birthday earlier this month but clearly this took a lot out of me since this was done on a larger sketchbook, and I was working on several different pieces.

An artwork in one of my main sketchbooks that I finished a while back, only to recently have touched it up for presentability.
Used with ink, graphite, metallic gel ink, colored pencils, highlighters, markers, watercolor, gouache, all on 9x12" sketchbook.
....now I'm starting to really miss playing with my old original Xbox console from WAY back then. At least I still have my hard CD copy of the game.

So, after over a year of absence in this forum, I have returned. My RL has been grueling & wild (both good & bad), to say the least.
I finished this artwork this past summer, in pure succession. This was my take on illustrating Little Foot from The Land Before Time & gave it my all. It's been 5 years since I last did any LBT fanart. And yes that's a cloud resembling Littlefoot's mother. I weeped in satisfaction when the moment I finished this piece, mostly due to losing multiple nights of sleep working on it around the clock and burning the midnight oil (figuratively). Was worth it though, haha! :') It's only now I finally managed to revisit y'all & present it right here.
Materials used: Colored pencils, highlighters, markers, watercolor, water soluble color pencils, graphite, & ballpoint pen inks, on sketchbook paper, & digital.

So, this goes without saying -- I haven't been here or even logged in here to post anything in such a long time -- almost a few years in fact. That said, I wanted to return here again to provide even more of what I have to offer, as an artist.
A lot of things have changed over the course of my life since the earlier part of this decade -- I work in the military now but I still use what relative amounts of free time I still have, to produce more new artworks. These pieces however were done from 2008 to 2023. My original intention here was to return with a brand new LBT fanart for its 35th starday, but alas, I've still yet to get to that.
(P.S.: For the record, I've obsessively gotten into making a lot of fanart for Panzer Dragoon - an amazing rail shooter game series):

Alright so here's one completed piece of fanart I have under my belt. It's basically Petrie and Chomper exploring in an unlikely area, with fascination.
This was made well over a year ago btw. =] Drawn using prismacolor premier colored pencils, pen ink, graphite, Photoshop CS6 Extended, & Clip Studio Paint v1.8.2. (Neither are newest apps tho)

Hello everyone. 
The name's Octazure. But call me however you see fit. =) I've always enjoyed the LBT franchise since I was exposed to it back in the mid-1990s. It was subconsciously my proto-gateway into another kind of community and fandom I'm sure some of you are familiar with, and it has to do with far, far more than just dinosaurs! 
I'm a professional visual artist who specializes in illustration, involving but not limited to drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, & digital media. Been doing art all my life, and video games, films, and animation has greatly influenced me! Not to mention music, reptiles, dinosaurs, and animals in general!
P.S.: My hatchday is already tomorrow. xD
