Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Ah! Thank you so much! I'll learn my way around eventually lol. And I totally agree, I find the humans kinda boring too :lol  I didn't know there was anything other than the original two books! I really need to look into it more-

I wasn't aware there were that many!  :!  My parents bought the first two for me and my sister when we were pretty young, so I guess I never really considered there being more lol

Not sure if there's already a thread for this but I feel like dinotopia fans and LBT fans go hand in hand! It really makes me happy when I find recent fandom works for the books. They always enamored me as a kid, even if I didn't understand the words 100% :P . It went to the point where I made my own (much lamer) dinotopia universe and books (which also involved my little LBT figures, coincidentally).
Anyways! I just think it would be really neat to find other dinotopia fans to talk to!  :DD

I prefer 2D for sure! it feels so much more sincere and beautiful, there's usually a lot more care in the craft! Many of my favorite properties are done in 2D, including invader zim, gorillaz (excepting that weird mocap/3D phase they had) and of course LBT  :cerahappy! Don't get me wrong, Amazing things can be done with 3D, and it can be used to elevate and help the creation of 2D properties, and it has been used and blended (with a lot of success) with 2D in invader zim, LBT and Beastars, too!
Anyways, I do prefer 2D but not by and intense amount  :^^spike

Oh, fair enough, it's a little slow moving for sure. Have you seen 2049? If you haven't I'd definitely recommend it! A lot of sequels are made just to bank on nostalgia but 2049 really feels like a love letter to the original.

If there are any other Blade Runner fans I'd love to discuss the movies and the universe, and sorry if there's already a thread for them.
I personally really love the aesthetic of the first film, and 2049 has a really good spin on the old movie's look, but I feel like a bit of the original charm is gone in it. But! It's still such a big inspiration to me, and a lot of my worldbuilding! If anyone wants to talk about theories or if anyone has cool screencaps from the movie I'd love to see them!
Once again, sorry if there's already a thread, I just couldn't find/see one  :confused

 :rainbowwave Hello! Thought if I (alien) was gonna introduce myself I might as well use the alien emote!
I've been a longtime fan and didn't know this forum existed until now, but I'm glad I found it! Honestly it's really cool to see such a big following for something that shaped a large part of me as a kid. I used to write spinoffs and fanfics on my old box computer right after I was done playing me and the key or freddi fish for the 12 thousandth time. I enjoy art, my art instagram is a1ien.gutz, and I draw a lot of invader zim, psychonauts and dragons. I enjoy gardening and ranching as well, I raise rabbits and tend to my gardens every day.
Really excited to meet more fans! I hope I can get some art up soon! My forum siggy will take you to my flight rising blog.
