General Land Before Time / The Future of the Franchise

I have often thought about writing a script for a new film, bringing it back towards the direction of Bluth's original while keeping the timeline of the whole series intact. What are everyone's thoughts on the likelihood that any new content may be greenlit in the future, considering the failure of 14? It is a dream of mine to create a continuation, but that dream is most certainly of the pipe variety and I just want to see if anyone else has thoughts regarding the future.

I personally don't think we will ever see anything new unless it is a straight up reboot, but hey. One can hope.

That's kind of the issue here, is that i'm not sure if it's temporary or not. I could be able to record in a few months, or it might not be for the next year. I would obviously like to stay on the project, so for now it'll be a wait and see kind of thing.

Since we still don't have any Ducky candidates, I'm thinking about giving a Ducky audition a try after all. Screaming is still an issue since i have a hard time screaming on command, but if i get a better mic the audio quality would be less of a problem.
