Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Hey guys, sorry, so sorry I haven't been on. It seems everytime I think I have time for here something in RL crops up and time just goes away. I'm thinking I may need to just hand off Vitani and even Hali too if you want to use her.

Vitani smiled back at the cubs as Kopa asked his question. "Yes. They were all on their own and the Pride as a whole took them in, but in Hali and Makaila's case atleast they've come to think of me as their mother and I think the same" she smiled.

Hali heard herself be mentioned and walked up, "Yeah, I bumped into him first but I wasn't suppose to say anything until he told some secret which I guess he just did" she smiled.

As she was introduced by Kovu, Vitani stepped forward with a small nod, "How do you do". She said.

Hali frowned but decided that she didn't believe what Damon had said, and as Nuteri backed up that that wouldn't happen she felt eve better and just decided she would ignore Damon, "Yeah, well I knew the nice lion I ran into wouldn't do such" she told Makaila.

Hali just stared in interest as the adults talked on this new lion who either was or wasn't the new prince. Wow, she'd found a prince. "I spotted him first" she smiled over at Makaila and Damon, not really bragging but just saying.
 
Vitani heard both the kid's statement, Hali's and Damon's about not believing this lion was Simba's son and thought about gently reminding the cubs of manners and not saying such even if you didn't think you'd be overheard. She let the kids alone though and just watched as Rafiki walked up to apparently confirm all of this. Wow, so Simba had had a son... Vitani felt a bit guilt that she knew it was probably the threat her mother had posed which caused Kopa to be "spirited away".

(Hey sorry, busy and then just trying to figure out where and how to put Hali since the edit, but going with her knowing "something" about newcomer, maybe not fully who he is...)

Vitani smiled, bending down to greet and nuzzle Makaila as well. She had to admit, having cubs look up to her as a mom was a rather nice feeling. She'd just nodded to take up Kiara's offer of a morning hunt when they were interrupted by a new lion approaching. At first Vitani backed up just a bit in not knowing who this newcomer was, yet then she noticed he seemed to have some similarities to Simba and just...a "Pridelanders look" as she would have said once.

Hali trotted along behind as this new lion she'd found approached Pride Rock, waiting just behind until she noticed Makaila and trotted over nearer her as everyone seemed frozen in this tense stand off of shock.

Vitani smiled at the praise. "She is something" she agreed, more praising Hali than herself.

It was amazing, even with Hali just being adopted in under Vitani's care, how much the cub had quickly trusted her and loved her back like a daughter. Vitani only worried that she didn't know what a good mother was suppose to do, right now she was just sort of going against everything she thought would have been right under what Zira had told her.

At first Hali all but squeaked as she was plucked up, but gazing up at this huge lion who held her, she found his face was more comforting than anything, alot like Simba's...

She swallowed and then answered, "Um...I'm Hali...sir" she said. She glanced from the lion to the baboon and even Rafiki. "I'm...uh, sorry if I heard somethin' I wasn't suppose to. I won't tell" she promised.

Hali paused as she noticed the shadow for a grown lion. First off just because she didn't know him and wasn't sure if he would be a dangerous stranger or not. As he and the baboon began to speak the child remained still, head cocking in confusion at what they talked on. Prince...taken away?

Hali started to get the feeling she shouldn't be easedropping and so as Rafiki walked up, the cub backed up to turn and go, stepping on a branch as she did so though. She froze. Oh now she'd be in trouble...

Vitani smiled over at her brother, "I know...I still feel like it's...too good to be true ya know, and I'm gonna mess this perfect life of ours up" she sighed a bit yet smiled as Kiara walked out and nodded to Simba.

"All in all good, if I can put ghosts of the past behind me" she answered polite but also honestly.

A cub came rushing out next, little Hali, "I'm gonna go 'splore Vitani bye!" she called hurriedly on the way out.

Vitani quickly grabbed her by the scruff to just pause the cub, "Hold on, explore where?" she asked.

"Places" the cub answered with a smile. With a sigh Vitani gave in,  "Ok, I'm sure the Pridelands are relatively safe enough" she smiled, "Go on".

"Thanks mom...uh Vitani" Hali said before running off. Vitani just smiled, not insulted by the slip up at all.

Hali continued on bounding through the grass of the Pridelands until she spotted something. Pausing and crouching down she slowly stalked nearer what seemed to be a dark shadow moving across the grass. The cub didn't worry at all at it being dangerous.

(In starting up, I think I'll say Hali's already been taken into the pride, just so it's easy with...uh forgot how you say your character name Rocky :oops but him :))

As the sun rose on yet another day in the Pridelands, Vitani exited the cave, still being somewhat of an early riser due to the drills she'd endured so much as a cub and her mother forcing her to get up.

She didn't have to get up anymore, but it was a hard habit to break and early morning was an interesting time of the day, before the day had begun and all was still a bit still.

The cub they'd found not long ago and which Vitani had taken it upon herself to watch over, Hali, still lay curled up and Vitani padded quietly by so as not to distrub her as she stood on the main rock (not the king's one though!) of Priderock, looking out at it.

To think, she'd almost let her mother try to destroy this beautiful place... she sighed.

Ok. Yeah, Kopa's...half a movie character? Based of books and such saying that the cub at the end of Lion King was Simba's son and then Kiara later being shown in II, so it lead to speculation of him having run off and stuff, from what I understand, but we can do what we want with his backstory.

I'll put him under the movie characters just...cause, I guess :)

Ok, was there anyone else in the role play who's yet the chim in? Should we go ahead and start up the rebooted role play?

As far as I can see, it hasn't been done. Would anyone be interested? I'm thinking one from orignal rugrats where there babies. I like the All Grown Up too but if we wanted to do that one I would probably say we should do it as a seperate thread.

Anyway, as for characters, I know I'll start off by taking Phil, and not sure if I'll also take Lil or if I should leave her open for someone else to claim to help with interaction.

So if someone wants her you can have her, otherwise I'll probably play both in starting out.

Also I'll list the babies, but parents can be taken too, I'll just put those up as taken probably.

First off, reboot? Those of us who were in the Lion King roleplay, should we reboot and retry this story?

I guess as the characters we all had before, though if we want to discuss that we can also. I know I will take Vitani again though and I will bring in my OC Hali once more.

"I don't really worry over Miko" Namita answered, "but as for this other tiger cub...well surely he wouldn't hurt a child..." she trailed off. From what she'd heard of Shere Khan's hunting down that man cub though, she wasn't sure on his morals in that area.

If Hathi had been tempted to look shocked, he quickly shut up anyway. He wouldn't cross his wife in one of her "moods" either. He just followed alongside, all while looking like he wasn't following of course, as they marched over to the ruins. Elliott ran along behind, eager to get to the ruins and help his friends.

As they reached the ruins and Winifred begain her almost one elephant assault on the monkey, Hathi had to smirk.

Elliott rushed over to where Miko and Maharajah were, "Are you two ok?" he asked.

"Pretty much" Miko answered only half convincingly.

As Khan appeared in the ruins, he paused at this scene before him, yet then quickly ignored winfred or even the other elephants, as from the shadows he peered about for any sight of this new tiger cub. He soon spotted the three kids, one of which being the cub, and began to slink over to try and get nearer and surprised the kids maybe. After all surprise was always the best weapon, he'd found.

Namita had smiled as well, also knowing Khan was just bluffing.

The tiger probably would have answered this with some other statement to assert his total control, but the bird interrupted him, something he was about to snap at him for doing, before he caught his words.

Another...tiger, with man thing...what of his species would be so daft! Yet from the bird's words it was one of those odd white one's who had never fitted into a jungle properly.

Namita meanwhile gasped at what she overheard while they were still there, Louie had Miko cubnapped...

Shere Khan did let out a loud growl, before bounding off towards where he knew the ruins to be.

Namita frowned in worry over at Bagheera, clearly showing what she was wondering over, would Khan hurt Miko in all his anger over this. She  didn't say a word before bounding off after him, hoping to keep that from happening.

"I think it's all he knows to offer" Miko defended the ape king just slightly, "though, I have to agree" he looked to Louie, "We shouldn't show you about fire, it's not safe. My dad use to say it was the jungle destroyer, and I know some of the others still call it that too".

Hali had at first hung back, being shy, but now walked a bit closer to where Makaila and Damon stood. "I'm Hali" she said with a small smile. She of course didn't answer the question the cheetah had asked of Damon, since it was his affair and she didn't really recall what all had surrounded his backstory, just that they were traveling to a land he knew of.
