The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

General Land Before Time / littlefoots best singing voice

I liked his singing voice from 2-4.  I also agree with Action, I loved Cera's actor from 1-4.  Maybe it was because she was the first, but she was really good.  She captured the essence of Cera.

1988 Theatrical Release / Does LBT make you cry?
« on: June 21, 2006, 02:07:25 AM »
The first LBT didn't make me cry as a kid as far as I can remember.  However, it makes much more of an impression on me now, which I can understand.

Littlefoot's mother's death doesn't make me cry, but I got extremely choked up during that scene when I watched the movie recently.  I stayed choked up until the scene with Rooter ended.  It's amazing how emotions can be shown so accurately in this movie.

Like a few of you, I also got choked up at the last scene of the movie, when they find the Great Valley.  The music is what does it for me.

1988 Theatrical Release / James Horner: Music Thief?
« on: June 21, 2006, 01:45:12 AM »
I didn't get a chance to listen to any of the samples, but I agree with you guys.  There's only so much you can work with after a while, and eventually people will end up using others' melodies on accident.

I've noticed one theme from An American Tail making it into LBT, but I'd have to listen to the American Tail soundtrack again to figure out which one.  I think it's part of the Main Title.
