The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I've not been keeping track of the exact number, but it's pretty co-o-o-ol and reassuring to know that, despite so many older members here haven't been active for quite awhile... they do seem to come back every once and awhile... even if only for one day. Welcome back!!! Nice to meet yo-o-oou!!

Hi TAP! Welcome back :D

I too had my cringe teenage years on this forum. Now that I'm in my early 30s I look back on those posts with nostalgia and feel very happy that they are still available to me for reference, since my memory isn't the best.

Hope you've been well!

Thanks, Mumbling! Lots has happened with me over several years' time, but overall I'm doing pretty good currently :)
Honestly I'm the type that doesn't like to go back and re-read my old posts on stuff, but maybe I will soon.

Thanks for the greetings everyone else :)

The Welcome Center / Hello all, TAP here
« on: March 27, 2025, 11:30:04 PM »
Dunno how I managed to work my way back over here but I did. Hello all  :)

For those who don't know me I used to be pretty active on here, around 2012-2016, back in my cringy teenage years. Now I'm in my mid-20s...and unfortunately I'm still cringe, just in different ways lol.
Basically I was known as the one dude obsessed with Petrie before Diddy joined. Made some friends here, wrote fanfiction, did some audio stuff, was pretty active in captioning stuff. I swear half the stuff I've done on the Caption This section was waaaaaay beyond family-friendly or otherwise cringe, especially in later years. Seriously I dunno how I wasn't banned years ago for the content of those alone haha. Fortunately those years are long over and now I think I'm a pretty chill dude. LBT still holds a special place in my heart but maaaaan have my tastes expanded over time.

If anyone on here remembers me from long ago, I look forward to getting reacquainted with you. To anyone on here who's joined in the last few years that I haven't interacted with, hello. :)
I don't really intend on becoming active on here again but at the very least I wanted to catch myself up a bit on what's going on. Glad I'm doing so now :)

Ask Me / Re: Ask TAP!

Sorry for the late replies, I'm awful at checking up on things here haha

Have you ever watched Digimon?
Never really watched it but I'm familiar with a handful of the characters in it.

Do you play video games? If so, do you have a favourite game(s)?
Haven't really played them since my childhood years. Back then my favorites were any of the Soulcalibur and Tekken games, old Namco games, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, some Sonic games...there's probably others I'm forgetting about at the moment lol.

Very well. I will do just that. :D

Do you have a favourite non-LBT animated film?

Don't think I can pick just one. I like a lot of Disney and Pixar films mostly. The Fox and the Hound is an underappreciated favorite of mine, though I haven't seen it in quite a while haha. I have plenty of examples, I just can't think of any off the top of my head.

Hello everyone. I've barely been on here for some quite time, but given I've been lurking here quite a bit more often recently, I may as well relaunch this AMA for any inquiring minds. With that said, feel free to ask away. :D

iCarly.

Hey Arnold or The Fairly Oddparents?

Twilight Sparkle. IMO Starlight's a huge reason MLP:FiM's status as a great show got flushed down the toilet. So definitely Twilight, although I prefer Fluttershy haha.

Sweet or savory?

I don't remember. May have been the third one, may have been bits and pieces of another one, not sure honestly. I do know the first one was my reintroduction to LBT though. :)

He's a super cute character in his appearances, especially when paired with Petrie. :DD Not much to say beyond that really.

Usually around 6-8 hours each night, sometimes more, other times less.

Cool that this project is still going! Kinda thought it'd be abandoned by now with everyone's busy lives and such, but glad to see this is not the case. :)

@Mumbling, I must've recorded those auditions like five years ago back when I was sorta crap at voice acting (I was 15 at the time), and I've gotten much better since then. Not to mention my voice has become slightly deeper, so I could have a try at the Narrator yet again, perhaps to show how much I've improved at the very least. Regardless, I'm more than willing to take up Petrie. :)

I was 14 when I joined this site. Back then, and throughout most of my tenure here, I don't feel like I was a nice guy. I'd like to say I've improved quite a bit since then though. :)

I posted on here when I was still very much new to this forum, but I guess it doesn't hurt to post here again, does it?

Around June of 2012 was when I rediscovered LBT and fell in love with it. I thought I found this forum via Google searching, but upon re-reading the previous post I made here, I was actually on a fan blog run by pokeplayer984. I guess a link must've been there, otherwise I would not have found this forum. This was when I was just getting into the fandom, and I lurked here for a few months before I finally joined. I've been here ever since, although I've been significantly absent from posting for a couple of years here for one reason or another.

The Fridge / Re: Peanut Butter: Creamy or Chunky?
« on: September 21, 2018, 09:52:32 AM »
I'm a creamy guy when it comes to peanut butter. I guess it's always been the one I prefer, considering how easier it is to spread; plus, the more on a sandwich, the better (at least for me). Only recently have I had crunchy after years of not bothering with it. While it's certainly as delightful, it's harder to spread for sure.

Also I use Jif.
