I wonder if Gen 6 will be its own thing or if they're gonna try to keep the "G4 Expanded Universe" thing going. Kinda hope they go back to each Gen being its own canon, G4 has gone through enough with Gen5 killing off the entire cast through the ravages of time (or, in Twilight's case, plot-based character assassination).
So from the beginning of Gen5, especially after they started referencing the G4 era, I've been hoping Starlight Glimmer (my favorite pony) would appear or get a reference somewhere. To my delight, it would appear that happened!
Discord appeared in one of the comics, and Sunny Starscout said this line referencing the events of
"To Where and Back Again." This is good enough for me, at least best pony is remembered by history.
(Just for brownie points, she also
appears in an official Gen5 toyline.)
So is Pony Life just dead? I was still hoping Starlight Glimmer might make an appearance later down the line.
Decided to look this up too while I'm at it, Starlight never appeared in
Pony Life but once again she DID
appear in the toyline. I'll take it!
